Favre screwed everything up for Minnesota, so now Rosenfels and Jackson have to duke it out for the starting job up in the 'soooota. Neither of them is going to win it, but one of them will lose it, but this decision won't be announced until deep in preseason.

After their coach made it blatantly clear that he didn't trust Jackson or Rosenfels with the starting duties by going after Favre, the two remaining quarterbacks now have to pick up the pieces to fight for the starting job. The winner won't be announced until late in preseason.

Honestly, we still don't know who to pick here, but whichever QB wins the battle, they are going to have a tough time putting up big numbers in Minnesota. As coach Brad Childress said the other day, "we have a long way to go to be happy with the passing game."

If Favre can't find a way to get into the flow of the Vikings offense soon, Childress might want to think about starting Sage Rosenfels in Week 1.
