Minnesota Vikings

FanDuel Triple Play

Davonte Adams vsNO - $6,900 – Adams was peppered with 10 targets and caught a TD from Brett Hundley in week 6. The peppering will continue to be hot against the Saints defense which is giving up the 6th most points to WRs.

Jimmy Graham @NYG - $5,800 - The Giants are giving up the most points to TE’s this season. Sitting at the top of list in allowing 14.2 FF to the position that has the best basketball players. Graham is a slam dunk this week.

Minnesota Vikings vsBAL - $4,700 – The Vikings are at home hosting the Baltimore Ravens. Let me break this one down a bit further. The Baltimore Ravens are playing at the Minnesota Vikings this week and the Vikings DST only cost $4,700. PLAY THE VIKINGS DST!

Derrick Henry

Tennessee Titans

Titans in the Backfield

Mike Mularkey said the run game split on MNF (near 50-50 for DeMarco Murray-Derrick Henry) was a good model. He also added that Henry is the go-to RB in the 4th quarter.

Fantasy Goo: I believe this is the target, but we will see this vary from week-to-week. If Murray is healthy or fired-up, like he may be after his coaches’ comments, he will be the guy to start. As the season whines down so will Murray, buy Henry for your playoff run, he’s more than just a handcuff.

Marlon Mack

Indianapolis Colts

Turbin Done for Season

Colts HC Chuck Pagano expects RB Robert Turbin to miss rest of season with arm injury he suffered Monday night. Turbin has averaged 6+ touches per game over the past four weeks.

Fantasy Goo: This might seem insignificant, but I expect Marlon Mack will pick-up all of those touches. An extra 6 touches from Mack could mean a major boost in production. Grab him if you can, he’ll be explosive when Luck comes back.

Ezekiel Elliott

Dallas Cowboys

Two More Weeks of Zeke

Ezekiel Elliott has been granted another temporary restraining order by the Southern District of New York, and will be allowed to play Week 7. The restraining order, is for 14 days. So it appears Elliott will also be good for Week 8.

Fantasy Goo: Hold off on all the Morris/McFadden love for a couple more weeks. If you have them you’re probably holding if you’re a contender, but I’d sell high to the Zeke owner if you can. This is gearing up for Zeke to be out during the fantasy playoffs.

Kenny Golladay

Detroit Lions

Golladay. Celebrate

If we picked up Golladay
Take some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice
Everybody spread the word
We’re gonna have a celebration

Every season there is that player that propels a team to the fantasy promise land. Kenny Golladay possesses that high upside potential down the stretch that can be invaluable. Golladay last played in week 3 before suffering a hamstring injury, and Matthew Stafford has missed his 213lb 6’4 receiver. After throwing for 7TDs in the first 3 weeks; Stafford has only thrown for 2TDs before exploding in week 6 against the Saints with 3 tosses. This was a result of the game being out of hand and being forced to throw 52 times. Golden Tate was injured in this game and word is he will be out a few weeks. The Lions are on a bye in week 7, which gives Tate a free week to rest, but more importantly gives Golladay a free week to get ready to explode on the scene once again at home in week 8 against the Steelers. Tate and Marvin Jones Jr are what they are at this point. Golladay gives Stafford the kind of big threat target that he has lacked since the Decepticon leader himself MEGATRON retired. You can’t teach height and talent, and that is a gunslingers favorite type of weapon to use.

George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers

Waiver Wire Target

Kittle had a very average game this week catching four passes for 46 yards, but there could be some good news that came out of this game for him. C.J. Beathard has been named the starter for the rest of the season, and that was Kittle’s college quarterback, so you know there is immediate chemistry there that could pay nice dividends in the coming weeks

Alex Collins

Baltimore Ravens

Waiver Wire Target

Collins got the majority of the carries for the Ravens this week with 15 of them for 74 yards. He looks like he will be in a time share with Javorious Allen, but this was the first time we saw him take the majority of the carries, making him more interesting going forward.

Austin Hooper

Atlanta Falcons

Waiver Wire Target

Without Sanu the Falcons leaned a lot more on Hooper, who finished with seven receptions for 48 yards. He is becoming a bigger part of the Falcons offense, and he has big play potential that makes him a worthy add.

Ted Ginn Jr

New Orleans Saints

Waiver Wire Target

Ginn is the deep threat receiver for Drew Brees and they connected on a 20-yard score this week. Ginn finished with four receptions for 66 yards including that score. The Saints offense is lacking the big play and Ginn can provide the pop in the passing game.

Samaje Perine

Washington Redskins

Waiver Wire Target

Perine finally found the endzone this week, but his final stat line was not that pretty with nine carries for just 23 yards and three receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown. Samaje has lacked the big play, which has limited him in fantasy.

D'Onta Foreman

Houston Texans

Waiver Wire Target

Foreman got his customary 12 carries and this week gained 59 yards, but was once again held without a touchdown. He is getting a consistent workload, but he is not busting the big play to make him a worthy fantasy start.

Mike Wallace

Baltimore Ravens

Waiver Wire Target

After a stellar week Wallace came back down to earth, catching three passes for 30 yards. Wallace is a boom or bust.

Kendall Wright

Chicago Bears

Waiver Wire Target

Wright was basically invisible this game with two catches for 36 yards, and did not make a catch until the third quarter. There is too much inconsistency in the Bears passing offense.

Adam Humphries

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Waiver Wire Target

Humphries continued to be a decent part of the passing game, catching six passes for 51 yards this week. He was able to do this with Ryan Fitzpatrick having to come in for Winston, so it shows that Humphries is a regular part of their offense.

C.J. Beathard

San Francisco 49ers

Waiver Wire Target

Beathard came in relief of Brian Hoyer, who was horrible, and finished with 245 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception. Kyle Shanahan has named Beathard the starting quarterback the rest of the season. He is only worth adding in deeper leagues, but he should also give you some yards on the ground.

Nelson Agholor

Philadelphia Eagles

Waiver Wire Target

Agholor was scooped up in a lot of leagues last week, and he stayed hot this week catching four passes for 55 yards with another touchdown. Nelson has become a favorite target of Carson Wentz, and he is getting favorable matchups with Jeffery and Ertz drawing most of the defensive attention.

Darren McFadden

Dallas Cowboys

Waiver Wire Target

Morris may already be taken in your league, but he will be sharing time with McFadden while Zeke sits on the sidelines. If you are in a deep league and need a flier, here he is.

Orleans Darkwa

New York Giants

Waiver Wire Target

Darkwa is the Giant running back that has emerged as the lead back for the team. He torched the Broncos defense for 117 yards on 21 carries and caught one pass for 13 yards. He showed some nice burst and that will likely get him another big workload in their next game.

2010 Targets...

What's up Pyro Nation!!!  Check out the 2010 Targets Report...

One of our favorite and most important stat in all of Fantasy Football is the Target.  For the RB that's carries + passing targets and for the WR's and TE's, it's primarily just passing targets.  We here at Pyromaniac.com continually pound home the importance of Total Touches.  The data is in and it's convincing.  Let's take a quick look at how the leaders at each position faired this season...

Arian Foster had the most Total Touches for Running Backs.  That helped him net the most Rushing Yards, Recieving Yards, Total Yards, and Total TDs.  Not too shabby for what turned out to be the best surprise of the season.  If Kubiak sticks around, watch for more of the same out of the Houston backfield in 2011, he was the mastermind behind the great Denver running game from 1995-2005.

Roddy White came down with the most Targets for Wide Receivers this season.  He came in second in Receiving Yards, 1st in Receptions, and tied for 7th in TDs.  What a monster he was this year.

Jason Witten was our top honoree at TE, and it yielded him 1st place in Receptions, Receiving Yards, and 2nd place in TDs caught at the position.  Did we mention that Targets are important?
