(+) When Ahmad Bradshaw is healthy, he without a doubt has the ability to slash through a defense and create havoc
(+) Bradshaw lost the other half of Thunder and Lightning this offseason (Brandon Jacobs, 49ers) and could end up being used more in Jacobs’ normal 4th quarter role
(+) Scored a career high in rushing touchdowns last season (9)
(+) Rookie RB David Wilson out of Virginia Tech is no bigger than Bradshaw, so he could see more chances in the Red Zone
(+) If Ahmad had played in all 16 games last season, he could have had a career year – A sign of things to come in 2012?
(–) Being one of the smaller backs in the league at 5’9”, 198-pounds, he typically misses at least at least a bit of time because of it along with his violent running style
(–) With the team investing a first-round pick in David Wilson, you can expect the New York fans and media to be clamoring to see more of him as the season progresses
(–) Has gone down in yards-per-carry every year he’s been in the league and averaged only 3.9 YPC last season – the lowest mark in his career
(–) Doesn’t catch nearly as many passes as you would think a guy his size would
(–) Those foot injuries are starting to mount up and have taken an obvious toll on his overall game recently

Though Bradshaw seems to be a team player, he has had some off-the-field trouble in the past. Back in 2004, Ahmad was kicked off the Virginia football team (before his first season even began) for underage drinking and running from the cops. Then later on at his second college (Marshall), Bradshaw found himself in a little bit more trouble as he was sentenced to two years probation for stealing a Playstation 2 from a dorm room... which isn't an easy thing to do nowadays:

Ahmad signed a four-year, $1.7 million rookie contract in July of 2007 that included a $37,000 signing bonus. He was set to make $550,000 this upcoming season, but the incentives he reached brought the final year up to $1.001 million. Regardless, he’ll be playing for the big one this year, so expect him to leave it all on the field in 2010:
2010 - $1.001 million
2011 - Free Agent
Bradshaw may have missed just one game in 2009, but he dealt with various foot and ankle injuries all year which led to THREE different surgeries in the offseason, including screws being inserted into both feet to stabilize them. Be extremely cautious with this guy
