Prosise Scapula Fracture

Pyro's take: Prosise should be out for an extended period of time. He may be back for the Seahawks playoff run.

Fantasy Goo: Go get Rawls, pick up Rawls, trade for Rawls. He is the only back in Seattle right now and expect him to get the workhorse carries we saw last year.

Seattle Back to the Ground - Kinda

Pyro's take: The C-Mike news has passed, so let's look at the situation. The Silver Fox Pete Carroll himself referred to their current back-field as what they wanted all along. You have a punishing between the tackles in Rawls, and an amazingly talented Prosise to snag passes out of the air and get into space.

Fantasy Goo: This line is not doing their backs any favors. Today is Rawls first game back and will likely see less snaps because of it. I have a lot of stock in Prosise in DFS, just too good of a price and will likely see the majority of work. But, I not only like him for today, I think he could really take the league by surprise and could win people championships in fantasy.

Oh Jimmy You're So Fine, You're so Fine You... Can Start On my DFS Lineup Anytime

Pyro's take: This game opened at 48.5 and Vegas is giving 7.5 pts to the Patriots. So it will either be a pass heavy game-script for Seattle, or as I suspect, it will be a lot closer as Seattle has been playing much better lately.

Fantasy Goo: In the last 3 weeks only 1 TE is getting more targets than Graham. The only thing that is worrisome is Wild bill's predilection for taking out the opposition's best asset. This and the Christine Michael injury is another reason I also like Prosise.

C-Mike Added to Injury Report Late Friday

Pyro's take: Apparently, Michael suffered a hamstring injury at practice late on Friday. He was added to the injury report after practice and is currently listed as QUESTIONABLE.

Fantasy Goo: Friday practices are often vital. If a guy can not log at least a partial practice, then I am usually concerned. In Michael's case, the worry is even greater as he was not on the report all week and was only added after he suffered an injury during practice. That does not bode well for him. However, if
Prosise is available, grab him now. This is the late Sunday game, but if indeed C-Mike does play, Prosise will get work in a negative game-script versus the Packers. You have an exit strategy of going with Paul Perkins, who plays Monday, just in case.

Inactives in Seattle = Wilson and Rawls

Pyro's take: With Rawls out and Luke Wilson out, it could make room for other opportunities.

Fantasy Goo: Jimmy Graham has the revenge game narrative going for him already. We knew, Rawls was going to be out, but Prosise could be that guy you want to pick up for free now, before you have to spend next week. He is certainly worth a flier if you have the bench space.

Rawls, Prosise Out Week 3

d

Pyro's take: Michael looks to shoulder the heavy load in Week 3.

Fantasy Goo: With both Prosise and Rawls out, CMike looks to continue his dominance despite horrific O-line play.

Seahawks Running Game Unclear

The injury issue that's been hurting the Seahawks since camp opened kept a number of players from even suiting up, including running back C.J. Prosise.

Pyro's take: The injury issue that's been hurting the Seahawks since camp opened kept a number of players from even suiting up, including running back C.J. Prosise.

Fantasy Goo: Along with C.J. Prosise you can add Thomas Rawls. Rawls is currently going in the 3rd round, Prosise the 10th round and Christine Michael in the 13th in 12 team standard mock drafts. Nobody likes to see another man licking his girlfriend’s titties. Christine may have a girls name but, he is not a girl so it would not be like some hot chick named Christine licking your girlfriend’s boobies. DARN!! Christine, the man, was left for dead until the Seattle Seahawks brought him back. In the first preseason game of this year while Rawls sat out, Christine Michael looked good with 7 rushes for 44 yards. Rumor has Pete Carroll willing to go with a 1 – 2 punch with Rawls and Michael in 2016. Rawls owners want none of that talk. I loved watching Rawls run last year as he runs as if he is possessed. Prosise who was drafted by Seattle in the 3rd round should see a nice number of passes his way as the PPR option of the bunch. Once Thomas Rawls gets back to 100% I believe he will look the same as last year. We will have to worry about his running style leading to injury though.

C.J. Prosise Missing Time In Camp Will Most Likely Not Play In First Preseason Game

Seattle Seahawks

Pyro's take: Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is indicating that RB C.J. Prosise (hamstring) "has missed a ton" of work in training camp as he remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Carroll is also suggesting that Prosise has a "chance" to appear in the second preseason contest against the Minnesota Vikings. (Liz Mathews on Twitter)

Fantasy Goo: Prosise's absence in training camp is beginning to set the rookie back. Prosise is projected to be the primary backup behind Thomas Rawls, but his lingering ailment opens the door for Christine Michael and Alex Collins to carve out their own roles in the offense as they are seeing extended playing time while Rawls and Prosise were sitting out. Rawls was activated off of the PUP list and is being eased back into football activities, but there is no clear-cut timetable for Prosise's return. Monitor this situation throughout the preseason until Rawls' primary handcuff is fully determined.
