D Walker Questionable - Amaro Waits in the Wings

Delaine Walker is listed as Questionable for Week 3. IF he does not go, Jace Amaro will get the start.

Fantasy goo: Walker did not practice on Friday which is never a good sign. If he fails to go, Amaro would be a great pickup. I am betting the over in this game, thus far Oakland's D has not lived up to the preseason hype. IF it is indeed Amaro, I like him as a GPP play in DFS. The Titans offense runs through the TE. Granted Amaro will not get the numbers Walker does, but could easily have a great day considering his low-end pricing.

Jace Amaro Stepping Up To Prove Himself In Jets Camp

Brian Costello of The New York Post believes that Jets tight end Jace Amaro has stood out through the early part of training camp.

Fantasy Goo: "He is making a lot of catches, including a few diving ones, and has been a noticeable target in red-zone drills," said Costello. The Jets could use someone to step up behind Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, and Amaro stands the best chance of doing that. His first few years in the leagues have been marred by bad play and injury, but he could finally be turning a corner. He is worth keeping an eye on in all formats as a possible TE2.

"The #Jets placed TE Jace Amaro (shoulder) on season-ending Injured Reserve." Jeff Cumberland is expected to take over the starting role and will be the tight end to own on the Jets if any!

Amaro not impressing the New York Media

Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post just going off on Jace Amaro. The bright lights of the big city can be tough on anyone, but a rookie who is under-performing can drown in this spotlight. The other problem for Amaro is not having the benefit of a proven quarterback that can help his development. Stay away from this rookie.
