Jeremy McNichols

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Bucs Disappointed With McNichols

Bucs are waiving RB Jeremy McNichols, source says. McNichols has been extremely slow in picking up the playbook and extremely poor at pass-blocking assignments. I expect he will be added to their practice squad if he clears waivers.

Fantasy Goo: Charles Sims has immediate fantasy relevance, although he did not step-up when given the chance last year the opportunity has risen again. He was already banged-up last year when Martin was injured and Sims couldn’t hold up under a full workload. Last year hopes were high on Sims as he was being drafted in the 6-8th rounds, with expectations set so low for him this preseason he is probably still on your waiver wire. If you are thin at RB or drafted Elliot, Ware or any other RB that may not be playing the first few weeks you might want to throw a dart at Sims, more so in PPR leagues. Jacquizz Rodgers should still command the bulk of the carries until Martin returns from suspension.

Doug Martin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

McNichols Working on Pass Catching Skills

Jeremy McNichols has been working with the Bucs wide receivers. He's going basically undrafted, McNichols may be worth a late round flyer if you’re in a FFPC (28 round) draft, but we have to see what happens in camp before we can judge this one.

Fantasy Goo: Doug Martin’s ADP has risen to the point where he’s getting way too expensive. If he’s hanging around in the ninth or tenth he might be worth a shot, but there are probably better options to choose from before that point.
