Every time Jerome Harrison was presented with an opportunity to showcase his talents last year, not only did he not disappoint, but he thrived beyond expectation. On four separate occasions Harrison was given feature-back-like touches, and in those games, he averaged 170.5 yards rushing and totaled 5 TDs. Not just that, but the Browns ended up going 3-1 in those contests, with their lone loss coming against the division-winning Bengals in overtime. His season was headlined by a Week 15 effort against the Chiefs in which he put up 286 yards rushing, the 3rd highest total ever in a game and just 10 yards behind Adrian Peterson’s record of 296 yards. Still, even with a game like that in the books, Jerome averaged just 4.4 yards/carry on the season, which can likely be attributed to his smallish frame and inability to break tackles due to that lack of size.
