He may not have ideal size, strength, or speed, but WOW does this kid have hands:
Cotchery inked a five-year, $19 million deal back in March of '07 that included a $7 million signing bonus and a $3 million roster bonus the second year (collected). Here's the rest:
2010 - $1.8 million (voidable year, but wasn’t)
2011 - $1.8 million
2012 - $2 million
2013 - Free Agent
Braylon Edwards is the handcuff to Cotchery with Santonio Holmes now in the mix

Despite missing 2 games with a hamstring injury last year, Cotchery has been highly dependable over his first six years in the league
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) is active and will make the start in the game against the Dolphins today.
Pyro's Take:
This was expected as Cotch has been practicing all week. Feel free to use him as a WR3 on your fantasy football team today.
The Jets expect wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) to play today against the Dolphins.
Pyro's Take:
The Jets have been mediocre at best since Cotch went out during the Week 5 match-up against these same Dolphins. Jerricho is a decent fantasy football play this week as the Jets will look to get the steady receiver involved in the offense early and often.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) is being listed as questionable on the team's injury report, but coach Rex Ryan said that he fully expects Cotchery to play on Sunday.
Pyro's Take:
It's been a few weeks now, but Cotch is back. Feel free to get him into your fantasy football lineup as a WR3 against a weak Dolphins secondary.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) was limited in practice again on Thursday, but is still expected to be in the starting lineup come Sunday.
Pyro's Take:
Sanchez needs him, Braylon needs him, the Jets need him, and if you need him for your fantasy football team, you'll likely get him as Jerricho looks good to go this Sunday. Don't count on too much, though, as it looks like it might rain all game.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday and reportedly looked sharp in the portion open to the media.
Pyro's Take:
Cotch has missed the last two (really three) games, and the Jets passing game has suffered because of it. Assuming he plays, Jerricho could be a decent WR3 play on your fantasy football team this week against a so-so Miami pass D.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) has been ruled out for the game against the Raiders on Sunday.
Pyro's Take:
The Jets should be able to win this game without him, so David Clowney will get the start in his place. Make sure to take Cotch out of your fantasy football lineup.
Jets coach Rex Ryan went on record as saying that wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) has a "real shot" at playing this weekend against the Raiders.
Pyro's Take:
Cotch went through individual drills at practice today, but missed the team drills once again. Even if he does make a go of it, we'd hold off starting him on your fantasy football team as he's likely to be limited in terms of game-action.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) did very little during the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday. However, he hasn't been ruled out for Sunday's game yet and looks like he'll be a game-time decision.
Pyro's Take:
The Jets passing game looked anemic last Sunday without him, so the team has to be hoping for the best here, as do Cotchery, Braylon Edwards, and Mark Sanchez fantasy football owners.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) took part in individual drills on Wednesday, but sat out the team part of practice.
Pyro's Take:
We'll see how Cotch responds tomorrow before determining what to do with him this week. Stay tuned to see how this affects your fantasy football team.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday after missing last week's loss to the Bills.
Pyro's Take:
Mark Sanchez is plenty happy about that. The rookie QB has done nothing since Cotchery went down, so this news might boost the Dirty One's confidence. Check back later in the week to see if you can get Jerricho back into your fantasy football lineup this weekend.
When asked how wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery and his injured hamstring are doing, Jets coach Rex Ryan said that he "feels better", but didn't say whether he would be able to play in Week 7 or not.
Pyro's Take:
The Jets would love to get Cotch back, as the team has a much more formidable offense with him in the lineup. He'll be a good fantasy football play in Week 7 against the Raiders if he can go.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) missed Friday's practice and is will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
Pyro's Take:
Jerricho isn't going to play, and even if he does, he'll be highly limited on that gimpy hamstring. Sit him this week without question.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) missed practice again on Thursday. "It doesn't look real good," coach Rex Ryan said. "We'll see how he is."
Pyro's Take:
If Cotchery can't go, David "Do I Amuse You?" Clowney would get the start opposite newcomer Braylon Edwards. Check back again to see how Cotchery is progressing.
As expected, Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) missed practice on Wednesday to rest his injured hamstring.
Pyro's Take:
If Jerricho doesn't heal over the next day or two, expect David Clowney to get the start opposite Braylon Edwards on Sunday. Check back to see how your fantasy football lineup is affected.
Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery said in a radio interview that he overworked his hamstring on Monday night and hinted that he may sit out the Week 6 home game against the Bills to let it heal.
Pyro's Take:
The Jets should be able to take care of the discombobulated Bills without him, so they would be wise to give him a week off. Check back later in the week to see if you need to take him out of your fantasy football lineup or not.
