(+)Lance Moore is a prolific slot receiver in the Saints high powered offense


(+) Has the trust of Drew Brees as an outlet and underneath receiver and has the ability to catch ever ball thrown his way


(+) The departure of Robert Meachem ensures that Moore will see more targets this season


(+) Averaged a career high in yards per reception last season at 12.1


(-) Lance has suffured threw nagging injuries for what seems like his entire career


(-) Drew Brees spreads the ball around which means it will be hard for Moore to give you consistent production


(-) Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston are the top 2 targets in the passing game


(-) Lance will never be the biggest or most athletic receiver in the league which limits his upside

In June this past offseason, Lance signed a one-year deal worth $1.759 million.  That was pretty much the best he was going to get after his disappointing 2009 campaign, but he’ll look to rebound well as he’d rather have the semi-security of a long-term deal somewhere in the NFL:
