Larry was up to his usual tricks last season. He led the Cards in all statistical categories, something you absolutely have to have your #1 fantasy receiver do, yet some actually believe Fitz had himself an off-year. If an “off-year” is putting up 1,000+ yards with double-digit TDs and catching close to 100 passes, then it’s not too tough to figure out why Fitz has been among the top receivers taken in fantasy drafts each year for the past five seasons. That said, the nit-pickers do seem to have a bit of a point as he amassed well below his normal 1,400+ yards receiving (1,092) and had just three 100-yd games to boot.

~ His 1,092 yards were the least amount of receiving yards he has put up in a full season since his rookie year in 2004 (780 yards).
~ His 11.3 yards/catch was the lowest YPC he has had in his career by over two yards.
~ His long catch on the season of 34 yards was the lowest by 13 yards (2005).
~ His 9.56 Targets per game was the third least amount of targets he has seen per game in his career (2004, 2006)
~ His 11.7 fantasy points per game (based on a Standard Fantasy Scoring Format) were the third least he has put up in his career.
~ Set a career best in receiving TDs (13)
~ Made his fourth Pro-Bowl team
