Marqise-lee
Orange Julius to Sit Out Week 12

Pyro's take: It's official, Julius Thomas is indeed out this week against the Bills.

Fantasy Goo: While there are plenty of TEs in the proverbial sea, I think this also adds to the allure of Marqise Lee. In 5 of his 6 games since their bye, he has eclipsed 50 yards. In the last five weeks, Buffalo has given up 6 WR TDs and allowed the 4th most FF Points to opposing QBs. Lee is likely available on waivers. He is strictly a matchup play, at least at this point.

Lee seeing more targets

Pyro's take: Waiver Wire after Week 6: Lee is not going to wow you, but he keeps being active for the Jags and caught six passes for 61 yards this week. He is worth grabbing if you own ARob as insurance with upside.

Hurns has been Ruled Out for Week 13

out

Pyro's take: Hurns has been battling injury the past few weeks, and he has officially been ruled out for Week 13. Marqise Lee could be a sneaky play, he will be WR 2. Even Walters is Questionable. Lee will have a great opportunity and is the minimum price on Draft Kings, just $3,000.

Pyro's take: Mark Long reported via twitter ""I wouldn't put a timeframe on him." -- Jaguars coach Gus Bradley on WR Marqise Lee"

Lee hasnt played since week three, and is an easy drop in redraft leagues, and a hold in dynasty formats

Lee Downgraded to questionable

ML

Pyro's take: According to Ray O'Halloran beat writer for the Jaguars via twitter "WR Marqise Lee downgraded from probable to questionable." Its hard to speculate if he is going to be available on Sunday. Jacksonville did promote wide receiver Tony Washington from the practice squad.

Marqise Lee just doesnt seem as though he can remain healthy.

Lee Downgraded to Questionable for Sunday Week 3

Lee downgraded to questionable

Pyro's take: Lee's status was downgraded from probable to questionable on Saturday. This is certainly worrysome. He was not limited in Thursday's or Friday's practice. Stay alert as this looks like a game time decision.

Utilized

Lee was mostly used as decoy on Sunday's game against the Dolphins. They used him on a fake reverse with Allen Robinson. He also only caught one pass. Jedd Fisch statated “There are different things that we want to do with that package,” Fisch said. “We want to continue to utilize Marqise’s speed the best we can. … I think there are certain things that we can do with that. Obviously, we don’t want to live in a world of having to trick. We want to be able to get out there, execute our plays and utilize our personnel the best we can. His speed helps us there.”

Pyro's take: With the speed they Jags have at offense, they can run a lot of different packages. Marqise Lee may be the fastest of the bunch, and he should be on your fantasy radar if not rostered somewhere.

Out

Marqise Lee will be added to the collection of Jaguar wide receivers that will be out Sunday against the Colts. Lee will be out due to hamstring injury. The receiving crew is left to Allen Robinson, Mike Brown, and Tavarres King. Allen Hurns (left ankle) did not practice and Cecil Shorts (hamstring) was limited.

Lee on the year has eight catches for 73 yards. “We just have to treat it now. I want to make sure I’m 100 percent before I come back.”

Pyro's take: With Hurns and Shorts most likely out and now Lee, it is going to give a sputtering offense even more sputter. The Jags offense is just awful, and when your missing the weapons, it becomes even more of a difficult process.

Most likely Chad Henne will have time to find someone open, as the Colts are having their own problems on defense, and with Robert Mathis out for the year, the pass rush is non-existent.

At this point, I would not start any offensive player on the Jaguars, unless Shorts or Hurns can go.

Lee feeling the family vibe from Jaguars

Wide receiver Marqise Lee was hoping to make an impression on the field when the Jacksonville Jaguars held their organized team activities and minicamp in May and June.

An ankle injury prevented him from doing that. But the second-round pick out of USC has made quite a few friends already in their locker room.

That was something he never expected.

"Being in this locker room is like college all over again," said Lee, who will be expected to compete for a starting job when training camp opens later this month.

"You hear a lot on the outside," he said. "But coming here, this is great. I've had an opportunity to be with these guys, and having them sit down with me and spend extra time going over plays and things like that, it shows how much leadership they have and how much of a family this team is. I appreciate it."

Pyro's take: Lee should be ready for the start of training camp, and he will have a chance to be a starter when the season starts. Lee was so dynamic as a sophomore for the Trojans, and while he did not build on that last year, he has the ability to be one of the top receivers in this class when it is all said and done. If you are in dynasty leagues that have rookie drafts, I have seen him fall to an average ADP of 13-17, which is a great value.
