Tyreek Hype Train

Pyro's take: Andy Smith has confirmed in the wake of the Jeremy Maclin release that Tyreek Hill will have the "first crack" at Maclin's former Z receiver position. Albert Wilson and Chris Conley were also mentioned as having a good handle on the position.

Fantasy Goo: Tyreek Hill played only 50% of the offensive snaps and expects a huge uptick. For those worried about Hill's special teams role eating into his offensive availability, Reid featured both DeSean Jackson and Brian Westbrook as primary returners with big offensive roles in Philly.

Hill To See Double Snaps in 2017

Pyro's take: Tyreek Hill saw an average of 35 plays per game and HC Andy Reid said he could see up to 70 snaps per game.

Fantasy Goo: Pump the breaks on Hill, he was the fantasy darling of 2016. Although he is in line to get more touches in 2017, more touches typically means less effective production per play. He should be able to surpass his overall numbers from 2016 and should be on your radar come August drafting season

Don't Count on Hill Tonight

Pyro's take: Tyreek Hill has surprised the fantasy world as an explosive gadget player with fantasy viability. However, don't expect Hill to have a big game in this one. Surprisingly, Hill has been more effective on the road than at home hauling in 38 of his 50 catches on the season.

Fantasy Goo: Averaging just over 2 catches in home games, with Jeremy Maclin trending towards returning, stay away from Hill in your playoff matchups and fade him in DFS.

Maclin Inactive for week 13

Pyro's take: Because J-MAc is out, the fantasy pie just grows for the remaining Chiefs who will travel to Atlanta in Week 13. KC has a relatively low implied point total of just over 22.

Fantasy Goo: This is good news for Hill and Kelce owners. Atlanta is also without their best corner in Trufant. Hill is lethal from any part of the field, and Kelce's PPR floor has risen with the Maclin news.

Maclin Sidelined Wednesday

Pyro's take: Maclin remains on the injury report as he DNP in Wednesday's practice. Keep monitoring his status up to Game Day.

Fantasy Goo: Tyreek Hill has stood out in Maclin's offense. Go pick him up as a possible flex play if Maclin remains out this week and for a potentially extended period of time.

Tyreek Hill Is Chiefs Utility Knife In 2016

Tyreek Hill

Pyro's take: Tyreek Hill has been used in a number of ways this training camp and has been electric in all facets. Speical teams coordinator Dave Toub said Hill is excellent at catching the football and will be great at returning kicks and punts. In addition, Hill was used seamlessly between RB and WR and made huge plays with his blazing speed including beating Marcus Peters deep for a TD.and turned a short route into a TD with "dynamic, elusive running." (Chiefs.com)

Fantasy Goo: Keep an eye out for Hill. In track, he ran a 10.19 in the 100-meter dash and 20.14 in the 200-meter dash. With his speed and ball skills, it is likely he will be special teams force but might also work his way into a role in the offense. If your league gives points for return yards, Hill could be a major sleeper if utilized the way the Seahawks use Tyler Lockett.
