Drew Brees - Pyro Character

1.       Drew Brees (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #1 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Cool Brees is the tale of two quarterbacks… and the tale he weaves at home is much more impressive than the one who spent the first two weeks of the season on the road. Last season Drew dominated at home as compared to his road numbers, as he threw for 500 more yards and 27 touchdowns with only three interceptions at home compared to 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions on the road. That comes out to an average of 354 yards and 3+ touchdowns per game as well as an interception less than every other game. This week against the Vikings, Brees will get back on track for your fantasy team, so feel free to take your finger off the panic button.

Jay Cutler - Pyro Character

2.       Jay Cutler (at NYJ - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #12 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Aaron Rodgers Pyro Character

3.       Aaron Rodgers (at Det - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #17 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Aaron Rodgers rebounded nicely from his opening game performance in Week 2, toasting the Jets defensive backs throwing to Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb early and often. Rodgers has proven that he has some of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL at his disposal, as Nelson and Cobb currently rank 2nd and 4th among wide receivers in standard scoring. Rodgers finished Sunday as the top scoring passer in fantasy in Week 2 and will look to continue his hot play this weekend as he gets to take on a Detroit Lions secondary that allowed over 15 points to opposing quarterbacks last season. Last week the Lions allowed Cam Newton to throw for 281 yards and a score despite a decidedly mediocre bevy of weapons. Rodgers has also had a ton of success against the Lions, putting up a 9-1 career record while averaging 255.9 yards and nearly 2 passing touchdowns a game. This is one of the matchups you drafted Rodgers for, so get him in your lineup.

Andrew Luck - Pyro Character

4.       Andrew Luck (at Jac - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #5 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Luck is licking his fantasy chops this week and should be able to get the Colts their first win of the season along the way. Jacksonville is the second-worst defense in terms of fantasy points allowed so far this season, and it is not going to get much better for them after this week. The Colts are still struggling to establish their running game, but it should not matter on Sunday. The Jags have surrendered big pass plays in each game thus far, so don’t be surprised if Luck exploits them with T.Y. this week. The Stanford product is becoming the beast in fantasy we believed he would be when he was drafted three years ago… and this week he will continue to build the legend.

Matthew Stafford - Pyro Character

5.       Matthew Stafford (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #6 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

It is a battle of the NFC Norse division when the Packers head to Ford field on Sunday.  Only 9 teams have allowed more fantasy points to opposing QBs than Green Bay.  Stafford likes to play at home under the dome - although he only has 1 more home game in his career versus road games, he has thrown for 800 more yards and 12 more TDs when he is in Motown. In 7 games against the Pack, he averages just over 300 yards per game. In most leagues, that is a nice little bonus. In those games, Staff has tossed 13 TDs.  The last time Green Bay came to Ford Field, Stafford had himself a 330-yard day and tossed 3 TDs. Sunday should be a big day for Stafford and the boys.

Nick Foles - Pyro Character

6.       Nick Foles (vs. Was - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #11 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Foles is the 10th-ranked fantasy QB through two weeks putting up 32.32 fantasy points thus far, which is not quite the start many envisioned. If I told you that the Eagles would be leading all NFL teams at this point with 64 points scored, chances are you would have figured Foles would be in the Top-5 QBs, if not better. Part of this could be due to his having missed on many a key throw thus far, which hopefully will change soon. For Week 3, they are at home against a Washington team allowing very few fantasy points to the QB position thus far. In 2 games, their average allowed passing yards is just shy of 200 while they have only given up 2 passing TDs in those 2 games. Last year, Foles only played against them once and did not throw for a touchdown. That only happened two other times last year, which could be bad news, but likely won't be because hey, it’s the Redskins! Not to mention, with Cousins under center for Washington, this game could quickly become a shootout.

Matt Ryan - Pyro Character

7.       Matt Ryan (vs. TB - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Matty Ice will look to get back on track in Week 3 after a tough game against the Bengals last week. The good news is that he will not have a lot of time to think about the loss, as the Falcons play on Thursday night against the Buccaneers. Ryan is a much better quarterback at home then on the road. Last season, which was not a great year for Ryan, he threw 13 touchdowns at home and on the road, but only threw three interceptions at home compared to 14 on the road. He also had a great game against Tampa at home last season completing 20 of 26 passes for 273 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Lovie Smith’s Tampa-2 defense will allow Ryan to accumulate a lot of yards in this one. Even though it is a Thursday night game, you can still feel comfortable starting Matty Ice.

Russell Wilson - Pyro Character

8.       Russell Wilson (vs. Den - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Philip Rivers - Pyro Character

9.       Philip Rivers (at Buf - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #23 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Rivers is coming off a nice three-touchdown performance in a win over the Seahawks last week. This week he faces off against the Bills in Buffalo, who are off to a 2-0 start. Last week, Philip lost his starting running back to injury (Ryan Mathews) and there is a good chance he is called on to throw the ball more often in this game. In Mike McCoy’s offense, Rivers doesn’t take a lot of downfield shots and he won’t again in this game. What he has been so effective at, however, is taking what the defense gives him, which creates long scoring drives. Don’t expect a 300-yard game for Rivers, but he should be able to score you some decent fantasy points this week.

Peyton Manning - Pyro Character

10.     Peyton Manning (at Sea - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #32 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

This is week that you should have circled on the schedule when you drafted Manning, because this is going to be his toughest challenge of the year. The Seahawks are 18-1 at home over the last three seasons and last year at home, they only surrendered 11 touchdown passes against while intercepting 20 passes. You are probably going to start Peyton, but temper your expectations because this is not going to be a typical Manning game.

Tony Romo - Pyro Character

11.     Tony Romo (at StL - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Back) - Romo sat out practice on Wednesday with some stiffness in his gimpy back, but returned to full sessions on both Thursday and Friday. He's good to go this week.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #22 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Ryan Tannehill - Pyro Character

12.     Ryan Tannehill (vs. KC - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #14 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Tannehill has a chance to get his game going against the Chiefs this week. Kansas City has given up 20.8 points to quarterbacks over the first two weeks, which is second-worst in the league. The loss of Derrick Johnson from the defense is being felt, and the Chiefs are surrendering a lot of fantasy points because of it. Tannehill has yet to have a breakthrough game this season, throwing for under 250 yards in each of the first two weeks. This week Ryan should be able to top that mark as he continues to get more comfortable in Bill Lazor’s offense. He will also be leaned on more in this game as the Dolphins will be without Knowshon Moreno, who was their most effective running back. Tannehill is a sneaky start this week.

Kirk Cousins - Pyro Character

13.     Kirk Cousins (at Phi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #7 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Captain Kirk is now the leader for Washington and will face off against division foe Philadelphia this week. The Eagles are surrendering 18.2 points per week to quarterbacks on the season, and Cousins should be forced to throw the ball to keep up with Chip Kelly’s offense. This is the revenge game for DeSean Jackson, so expect Kirk to take some shots downfield to DJax so he can make his statement. Jay Gruden should be able to get Kirk going in this game as he fits his system better than RG III. Cousins is a sneaky start this week.

Tom Brady - Pyro Character

14.     Tom Brady (vs. Oak - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #3 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Brady gets to take on the Raiders this week, in a game that he should be able to take advantage of their defense. Oakland has been a decent defense against the pass this season, but that is because they can’t stop the run. The Patriots are a team that likes to run, so even though Brady could have a nice fantasy game attacking this defense, it is more likely that they will rely on the running game down the stretch, which will limit the ceiling for Tom Terrific this weekend.

Andy Dalton - Pyro Character

15.     Andy Dalton (vs. Ten - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #28 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Cam Newton - Pyro Character

16.     Cam Newton (vs. Pit - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #24 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Cam is still nursing his bruised ribs, and it showed last week. Cam only rushed the ball four times against the Lions and did not try to stretch any of the runs as he has in the past. Instead, Cam was more of a pocket passer and threw for 281 yards and touchdown. This week he will face the Steelers, whose defense has been giving up a lot of yards to running backs. This would normally be good news for Cam, but his ribs are going to keep him from taking full advantage of the biggest weakness on the Steelers defense. Cam is also lacking that dominant receiver to help out his cause, which makes him a middle of the road quarterback this week.

Colin Kaepernick - Pyro Character

17.     Colin Kaepernick (at Ari - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Back) - Nothing to see here, as Kaep practiced in full each day this week.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #15 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

San Fran heads to Arizona this Sunday. The Cardinals will likely struggle on offense a bit because odds are, they will be without Carson Palmer. This could mean a low fantasy outing for Kaepernick. If the 49ers go up early and Arizona is struggling, chances are we'll see a heavy dose of Gore and the San Fran running backs. Kaeppy has yet to break 250 passing yards in a game this season and has a total of 3 passing TDs with 0 rushing TDs. Colin is just shy of 30 fantasy points on the season thus far, which puts him as the 18th-ranked fantasy QB. That said, Arizona is fairly stingy against the position, as they are stacked with a pair of powerful cornerbacks in Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie. So far, they have allowed just 14.05 points to the QB position. Combine their defense with Kaepernick’s lack of luster so far, plus the fact that the Cardinals will struggle to put up points, and it just does not equate to a productive day for Kaepernick. There is a good chance you might be able to pick up a plug and play or at least consider using your back-up this week.

Joe Flacco - Pyro Character

18.     Joe Flacco (at Cle - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #16 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Ben Roethlisberger - Pyro Character

19.     Ben Roethlisberger (at Car - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #31 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Tampa Bay QB - Pyro Character

20.     Josh McCown (at Atl - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Thumb) - McCown's starter status would be in question for Week 4 regardless of his sprained right thumb. Check back next week to find out if they give Josh one more chance or if Mike Glennon takes the reigns.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Matt Cassel - Pyro Character

21.     Matt Cassel (at NO - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #30 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Eli Manning - Pyro Character

22.     Eli Manning (vs. Hou - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #18 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Well, at least he has a tight end. Larry Donnell is the only player who has double digit catches thus far for the Giants. With 4 INTs, 4 sacks and only 3 TDs, to say that Eli has not found comfort in the new McAdoo offense is an understatement. At times, it is almost embarrassing. Often, you are not sure who looks more confused, Eli or some of his receivers. Not only are they not on the same page, I am quite sure they are in reading different books in two separate libraries. The Giants are home to Houston this week and so far, Houston has more picks than TDs allowed (2 to 1). Only six teams have allowed fewer fantasy points to opposing QBs. You can't feel good if you have to start Eli, but a little home cookin' just might do the trick. Still, take a look and see if Tannehill is available. If so, grab him, hold him close, and whisper sweet nothings in his ear while you kick Eli out the back door to do the dreaded walk of shame.

E.J. Manuel Pyro Character

23.     E.J. Manuel (vs. SD - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #10 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Geno Smith - Pyro Character

24.     Geno Smith (vs. Chi - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #20 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Chad Henne - Pyro Character

25.     Chad Henne (vs. Ind - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #21 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Drew Stanton - Pyro Character

26.     Drew Stanton (vs. SF - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #29 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Drew Stanton will likely fill in again this week to face off against the 49ers. You do not want any of that. Hit the waiver wire now if you must.  Although Palmer is hopeful he will play, he's listed as Questionable and barely threw the ball all week. Even if he is a go, the arm strength will not be there. The trouble is, this is one of the 4:00 games on Sunday. So unless your other option is playing at that time or later, you will need to make a decision before the first games get going. The safe bet is to look elsewhere this week for your QB.

Houston QB - Pyro Character

27.     Ryan Fitzpatrick (at NYG - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #25 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Fitzpatrick is just not a fantasy quarterback playing within this Texans offense, as he has thrown for 206 and 139 yards over the first two weeks. Houston is featuring the running game, and have attempted only 41 passes over the first two games. Contrast that with the fact that Foster has had 55 carries over the first two games. Those numbers tell you that Fitzpatrick is not the way to go this week, even against a suspect Giants secondary.

Derek Carr Pyro Character

28.     Derek Carr (at NE - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #13 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

alex smith pyro character

29.     Alex Smith (at Mia - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #26 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

St. Louis Rams QB - Pyro Character

30.     Austin Davis (vs. Dal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #2 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Jake Locker Pyro Character

31.     Jake Locker (at Cin - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #27 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Locker draws a tough defense in the Bengals, and even worse, the game is in Cincinnati. The Titans have not been able to muster a running attack, and they will fail to do so again this week, putting the pressure squarely on Locker’s shoulders. Last week Matt Ryan threw for 231 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions against the Bengals, so that should tell you that this is going to be a rough week for Jake, especially since he does not have a receiver like Julio Jones to attack their defense. Look elsewhere for a starter this week.

Brian Hoyer Pyro Character

32.     Brian Hoyer (vs. Bal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #19 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Baltimore comes to town for Week 3. While Cleveland is 22nd in passing this year, they are 6th in the ground game and chances are, that trend will continue this weekend. In 2 games, Hoyer has managed nicely as he has put up 70 attempts thus far (more than one would assume) for a total of 426 yards, 2 TDs and 0 picks. The Browns are putting in Manziel packages, but that is still in the early stages. Allowing only 12.51 fantasy points to opposing QBs, only 5 other teams besides the Ravens have given up fewer fantasy points to the position. There are just too many other names out there to justify starting Hoyer.

Running Backs                 (Updated:  Sunday, Sept. 21 - 11:41AM CT)

LeSean McCoy - Pyro Character

1.       LeSean McCoy (vs. Was - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

So far this season McCoy has been the workhorse back that he always has been, with an average of 25.5 touches per game. The biggest difference this year is that he has only rushed for 3.7 YPC, and has only scored one touchdown. Darren Sproles has been making the impact plays from the running back position, although most of that came through the air last week. McCoy has yet to break a big run, with his longest going for 21 yards, but that should change this week. In his career against Washington LeSean averages 127 yards from scrimmage with .55 touchdowns per game. Chip Kelly is going to get his main man going this week.

DeMarco Murray - Pyro Character

2.       DeMarco Murray (at StL - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-10 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

DeMarco Murray has quite possibly had the best start to his season of any running back. He is averaging 25 attempts a game for 142 yards a game and has scored a rushing touchdown in each of the last two weeks. Last week against the Titans he put up 173 total yards and the hot start to the season looks to continue. The Cowboys new insistence on running the ball is making Murray a must start each and every week. Murray will get to go up against the Rams who just gave up 174 total yards to Bobby Rainey on 25 touches. Murray is twice the running back that Rainey is so expect another big day for Murray behind what is turning out to be one of the leagues best lines. The Rams have given up just 14.7 fantasy points a game to opposing running backs but without Chris Long this team is completely different against the run.

Giovani Bernard - Pyro Character

3.       Giovani Bernard (vs. Ten - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #3 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Gio had a breakout game in Week 2 with 169 yards from scrimmage with a touchdown. The highlight of which was a 46-yard catch and run on a screen pass. Bernard is the real deal, and the Bengals commitment to the running game was apparent last week. Gio had 27 carries and five catches, and as a team Cincinnati ran the ball 45 times compared to only 24 pass attempts. Bernard should once again get a heavy workload against a Titans defense that could not stop Demarco Murray a week ago. Gio is a must start, and with all the injuries and potential suspension of top running backs he is becoming one of the best in fantasy this year.

Marshawn Lynch - Pyro Character

4.       Marshawn Lynch (vs. Den - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Back) - Lynch missed practice on Wednesday, but it was more just for rest purposes. He's fine.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #19 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Lynch is ready for a rematch of the Super Bowl as the Seahawks host the Broncos this week. The Broncos spent a lot of money on their defense to be able to pressure the quarterback and shut down a running game like that of Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks. When they faced in the Super Bowl Lynch was the focus of the Broncos and they held him to only 39 yards on 15 carries, but he did score a touchdown. Denver is not going to sell all out on Lynch this week, and he should be able to find more opening running room. Beast mode was limited last week, but that was due in part to it being 107 degrees in San Diego, and it will be much more comfortable in Seattle this week.

Knile Davis - Pyro Character

5.       Knile Davis (at Mia - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-10 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Zac Stacy - Pyro Character

6.       Zac Stacy (vs. Dal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #2 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Stacy has had trouble getting his running attack going this season with only 114 yards on 30 carries, but he should be able to right to the ship this week. The Rams will be facing the Cowboys whose defense is coming off a strong performance against the Titans. The Titans do not feature much of a running attack, and the Boys got up early and did not have to worry much about Tennessee running. St. Louis is going to look to establish Stacy early, and with the lack of depth at linebacker for Dallas he should be able to break some good runs this week. Zac has a good chance to score a touchdown this week, and have his first good fantasy game of the year.

Alfred Morris - Pyro Character

7.       Alfred Morris (at Phi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #23 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Redskins head to the Eagles for Week 3. This is a better game for Cousins (7th easiest) and the receivers (1st easiest) than it is for Morris (23rd easiest). Not only that, the Eagles put up points, lots and lots of points. In fact, no one has put up as many as they have (64) through the first two weeks. So, that means Cousins will likely be passing. As a Morris owner myself, I love the guy, but damn it, is there another more vultured back in the NFL? Silas Redd and Darrel Young have combined for 2 rushing TDs so far this season, thus matching Morris. I mean, Silas freakin Redd? Still, he is churning out the yards, averaging 4.9 per carry this year. In 4 games against the Eagles, Alfred has averaged just a hair over 4 yards a carry and has 2 TDs.

Ahmad Bradshaw Pyro Character

8.       Ahmad Bradshaw (at Jac - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Tampa Bay RB - Pyro Character

9.       Bobby Rainey  (at Atl - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #7 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Stevan Ridley - Pyro Character

10.     Stevan Ridley (vs. Oak - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #9 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Stevan Ridley didn’t fumble this week and reminded us of what he is capable of, rushing 25 times for 101 yards and a score. Unfortunately, it also reminded us of the evil mastermind that is Bill Belichick for fantasy owners, just when you think the job is Vereen’s Ridley snatches some of it back with a solid game on the ground. Bill is a master of going with the hot hand at running back and riding them all game long. Ridley’s owners should feel fortunate though that the Oakland Raiders come to town, along with their league worst rushing defense currently allowing over 180 yards a game. The Raiders have allowed 28.9 fantasy points a game to opposing runners this season and Ridley should be the next player to take advantage of that matchup this week.

New York Giants - Pyro Character

11.     Rashad Jennings (vs. Hou - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #15 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Jennings has not been able to get his game going this year, with only 110 yards on 34 carries, for 3.2 YPC average. This week he should be able to turn his fortunes around, as the Texans defense can be beat. Last week Houston did not have to fear a running game facing the Raiders, but the Giants will look to establish Jennings early to take some pressure off of Eli Manning, who has been struggling. Expect Rashad to also be very active as a receiver in this game, as the Giants should look to the screen pass to slow down J.J. Watt.

Reggie Bush - Pyro Character

12.     Reggie Bush (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #6 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

I have been saying it since the preseason, Bell is the back you want in Motown. If you can make the swap DO IT NOW! Even though he has had slippery fingers, Bell will still end the year a better fantasy player. In 2014, Bush has 15 carries for 41 yards. He has caught 8 passes for 55 yards and has failed to cross the end zone. Bell is statistically better in every category except receptions where he trails by 1. In Week 3, the Lions are home to the Packers. I will say this for Reggie, he had the Packs number the last time they played. He rushed for 117 yards, had 65 receiving and scored twice. Bush likes playing at home and on turf, both of which happens this Sunday. He should have his best fantasy performance so far this year.

Le'Veon Bell - Pyro Character

13.     Le’Veon Bell (at Car - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #31 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Le’Veon Bell has had a great start to the 2014 season. In 2 games he has averaged over 5 yards a carry, something he was unable to accomplish once in his rookie season. Bell has had over 100 all-purpose yards in each of the first two games of the season and is looking to keep that trend rolling. The newer, thinner Bell will have a tougher matchup in week 3 taking on a stout Carolina Panther run defense. The Panthers have allowed just 137 rushing yards and not allowed a rushing score on the ground. The Panthers have however allowed 2 receiving scores to running backs so far in this early season, so Bell’s versatility in the pass game could come up large. With Carolina also holding up well against opposing passing games so far in this season, Bell may need to carry the load for the Steelers offense at Carolina this week.

Joique Bell - Pyro Character

14.     Joique Bell (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Knee) - Bell was limited in practice all week, but he's still in line to start this Sunday against the Pack.  PYRO's TAKE: Bell had a knee issue during the off-season, so the limited work this week was most likely just an effort to give the big RB a little rest. No worries here.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #6 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Joique Bell has been the best back in Detroit over the first two games, and it isn’t even close. Bell has 25 rushes for 87 yards and a score, He has also caught 7 of his 12 targets for 66 yards. Reggie on the other hand has been very disappointing, on 15 attempts he has just 41 yards and in the passing game he has just 55 yards on his 8 catches. Bell is nearly twice as good at home where he averages 4.6 yards a carry and also has scored twice as many touchdowns. Bell has also had his most success against the Packers then any other team so far in his career. So far this season the Packers are allowing 27.7 fantasy points a game; both Bell and Bush should be able to exploit the Packers this week.

Chris Ivory - Pyro Character

15.     Chris Ivory (vs. Chi - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #1 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Chris Ivory has had a very solid start to the 2014 campaign, including scoring a touchdown in each of the teams first two games serving as the team’s goal line battering ram. Ivory is currently averaging 6.3 yards per carry and looking more explosive then ever. The Jets will now take on a Chicago defense that has had its share of problems over the last two seasons. So far this season the Bears have allowed over 20 points a game to opposing running backs. Monday night football should feature plenty of run plays for Ivory going up against the former Monsters of the Midway.

Pierre Thomas - Pyro Character

16.     Pierre Thomas (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #12 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Pierre Thomas had sort of taken a backseat to Mark Ingram through two games this season, but with Ingram lost for the next month or so Pierre should see an uptick in opportunities and production. The Saints have a nice matchup at home against the Vikings this week in the first tilt without Ingram this season. Pierre’s numbers at home are much better as he adds nearly a half-yard per carry to his average at the Superdome. The Vikings are currently average against opposing running backs but the Saint high-octane offense is their first true test of the season. Look for Pierre to get a few more looks a game while Khiry Robinson sees most of the early down work in the Saints backfield.

Philadelphia Eagles RB - Pyro Character

17.     Darren Sproles (vs. Was - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Sproles has been a revelation so far this season, with 263 total yards and two touchdowns through two games. Those numbers are amazing, but they are even more impressive when you consider that he plays alongside of the best back in football in LeSean McCoy and has outperformed him. It is crystal clear that Chip Kelly is set on featuring Sproles and his playmaking ability in this offense. This week they get to face off against division foe Washington, who has the best defense defending running backs through two weeks. A big reason for those great numbers is the opponents they have faced, the Texans and Jaguars. The Eagles offense is so fast, and Sproles is able to get the ball in space against a winded defense, and the results have been great. Darren should be able to exploit Washington and continue his hot start.

C.J. Spiller - Pyro Character

18.     C.J. Spiller (vs. SD - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #21 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Fire up the flex capacitor, this must be 2012. Spiller is looking surprisingly spry. If you are in a league that awards return TDs, then you might just be erecting a small statue of him. Alright, that is going overboard, but he is a nice surprise this year. Both he and Jackson have the same rushing average after 2 games, (4.5), Spiller has 8 more attempts. It seems they are just about spilt 50-50 as far as their usage. Last week Jackson had 3 more looks, but it is a pretty even split through two weeks. That said, so far Spiller is the guy to own. This week he faces the Bolts in Buffalo. Although they have yet to allow a rushing TD, they have given up 3 receiving TDs to opposing RBs. Spiller already has caught 1 TD pass this year.

New Orleans Saints - Pyro Character

19.     Khiry Robinson (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #12 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Robinson will be one of the main waiver wire pickups this week as Ingram is expected to miss a month with a hand injury. Pierre Thomas is a threat in PPR, but hasn't been much of a factor in the run game just yet. In 2 games, Robinson already had more carries than Thomas (14 to 10) and that was basically before Ingram went down. Robinson will see a significant increase in touches for Week 3 and should end up a solid RB2. He goes up against the Vikings who have only allowed 1 running TD so far and have been fairly stingy against the run, only giving up 16 fantasy points through 2 weeks. Still, Robinson has averaged 4.2 yards per carry and should get some fantasy goo this week through sheer volume alone.

Lamar Miller - Pyro Character

20.     Lamar Miller (vs. KC - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #18 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Lamar Miller now has a prime opportunity after week 1 hero Knowshon Moreno dislocated his elbow on his first carry of the game. Miller came in and received 16 looks before leaving in the fourth quarter with an injury of his own. He has already practiced early in the week so it is encouraging that he should be in the lineup this week. Miami gets to take on a Kansas City Chiefs team that has been ravaged by injuries in the first two weeks of the season. Even while the Chiefs have been much worse on defense so far in the first two weeks of the season, most of the damage has been done through the air as KC has held opposing running backs to just 12.5 fantasy points a game. Miller should be a three down workhorse back until Moreno returns and is at least worth considering as a flex option this week.

Cincinnati Bengals Rookie - Pyro Character

21.     Jeremy Hill (vs. Ten - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #3 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The Titans come to town for Week 3. The Titans have allowed a total of 15.75 fantasy points to opposing RBs through two weeks. That is not a reassuring stat. Hill will just not get the looks of his counterpart, Giovani Bernard. Even though Hill has a better average per carry, 4.9 to Gio’s 3.4, Bernard has more than doubled Hill’s attempts. On the year, Gio has 41 attempts to Hill’s 19. Last week alone, Gio led all backs with 33 total looks. However, with the injuries piling up to RBs, Hill is still an RB2/ Flex player. Although the Titans are a formidable defense, they have only allowed 1 running TD this season, the RBs face the 3rd easiest schedule where as Dalton faces the 28th this week. With their best two receivers sidelined (Green and Jones), OC Hue Jackson will likely rely on a heavy run attack this week.

Baltimore Ravens RB - Pyro Character

22.     Justin Forsett (at Cle - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #16 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Steven Jackson - Pyro Character

23.     Steven Jackson (vs. TB - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #24 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Steven Jackson and the Falcons have had to lean on the passing game heavily in both games as they have fallen behind their opponents early the last two weeks. This week the Falcons will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night. Thursday night games are notoriously sloppy and running backs usually get a few extra carries which is good news for Jackson as his attempts have been lacking (just 23 through 2 games). The Falcons offensive line has been hit with a rash of injuries so they are not nearly as good or as deep as they were to begin the season. Tampa Bay has allowed just 12.8 fantasy points to opposing running backs so far this season so it is doubtful that Jackson will explode this game, but Zac Stacy who is a similar style runner did gain 71 yards and score a touchdown last week.

Eddie Lacy - Pyro Character

24.     Eddie Lacy (at Det - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #27 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Lacy is a buy low candidate. He has 25 carriers so far, he is averaging 3.1, has yet to cross the end zone, and has already revisited concussion protocol. This is exactly the reason we tell you to trust what you see on the field and not what you read in the paper. The dude has talent, you can see it when he runs the ball. I own Cobb in a main league and am a NFC North fan, I have seen him in action quite a bit. Heck, I have a trade offer out there now for the guy. There have been a handful of occasions this year where he looked fine, damn fine. Hell I thought he was going to bust one once or twice against the Jets. Well, the rough patch may continue this week as he faces the Lions. The last time he played in Detroit, he had his worst yards per carry average of the season. After Week 3, he has a nice 3 game run against opposing defenses, starting in Week 4 with our easiest ranked rushing defense. Send out your trade offers for him now, Monday at the latest.

Cleveland Browns Rookie - Pyro Character

25.     Terrance West (vs. Bal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #26 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The rookie is getting an early introduction to life in the NFL with the injury to Ben Tate. Last week he had a tougher time getting going as a runner with only 68 yards on 19 carries after rushing for 100 yards in his debut. West was able to add a receiving touchdown last week, and his two catches were the first in his NFL career. If he can bring the receiving threat into his game then West will become a bigger threat in fantasy. This week he will face an uphill challenge facing the Ravens who have only surrendered 12.2 points per game to running backs. Terrance has the potential to be a good flex play this season, but this week is not a great matchup for the rookie.

San Diego Chargers RB - Pyro Character

26.     Donald Brown (at Buf - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #17 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Shane Vereen - Pyro Character

27.     Shane Vereen (vs. Oak - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Shoulder) - Vereen was limited in practice each day this week but should be good to go come Sunday.  PYRO's TAKE: While Vereen may indeed play and has a very tempting matchup against a weak Raiders defense this weekend, you never really know what Bill Belichick and the Patriots coaching staff are thinking. They could easily go back to the Ridley Well once again, as it seemed to work just fine against the Vikings last weekend. Orrrr, they could be playing possum with Vereen's "injury" and get him 15 touches. Our guess is it's a combination of both, which would mean Vereen's fantasy value will be somewhat dependant on his getting a touchdown. Play at your own risk.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #9 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Shane Vereen got Belichicked last week last so many other running backs and fantasy owners before him. Bill rode the hot hand and fed Ridley to the tune of 25 carries. Vereen did receive 6 carries for 40 yards while the game was still competitive which is encouraging, as he still seems like the preferred running back when the game is close. He is definitely still the preferred option when the Pats intend to pass so do not hesitate to put this guy in your lineup this week. The Raiders have been a lousy defense against the run and Vereen should see a decent number of carries this week as the Pats look to advance to 2-1.

Andre Ellington - Pyro Character

28.     Andre Ellington (vs. SF - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Foot) - As should be the case for the better part of the season, the Cardinals limited Ellington's reps in tpractice this week, but The Duke is good to go and will start this Sunday afternoon against the 49ers.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #25 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

First it seemed that The DUKE was going to miss up to four weeks, and now he is coming off a nice performance in Week 2 where he had 91 yards on 15 carries. This week will be a much tougher test than the New York Giants, as the Cardinals host division rival San Francisco. The 49ers are coming off a tough loss to the Bears, and can ill afford a division loss this week. The status of Carson Palmer is still up in the air, and if Stanton is the quarterback then the 49ers will focus their attention to shut down the run and force Stanton to beat them. Ellington has a better chance to score this week if Palmer is in at quarterback.

Fred Jackson - Pyro Character

29.     Fred Jackson (vs. SD - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #21 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Fred Jackson faced some tough sledding against the Miami Dolphins last week as he was only able to muster 2 yards a carry. His teammate C.J. Spiller was the much more effective runner last weekend gaining 69 yards on the same 12 carries. This week the Bills face a below average defense against running backs in the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers have allowed 20.3 fantasy points to opposing running backs so far in this young season, and old man Jackson will be the next to take them on.

Danny Woodhead - Pyro Character

30.     Danny Woodhead (at Buf - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #17 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Matt Forte - Pyro Character

31.     Matt Forte (at NYJ - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #28 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Matt Forte faced tough sledding against the 49ers defense on Sunday night as they game planned to stop him with the pair of star wideouts slowed with injuries. Forte could only muster 21 yards on the ground on his 12 carries. Meanwhile his usually efficient self in the passing game was also kept in check catching 5 of his 8 targets for 18 yards. With the rest of this offense hopefully healthy going forward, teams will not be able to key on Forte to the extent the 49ers did last week. Unluckily for Forte this week, he goes against a defense that doesn’t need to game plan to stop the run as they have one of the best units in the entire NFL at doing just that. The Jets have allowed just 6.3 fantasy points to opposing running backs over the first two weeks. They have contained opposing runners on the ground (72 yards on 28 rushes) and through the air (53 yards on 9 catches). Forte will still be used in the screen game and running the ball, just don’t expect a big game out of him this week, as it is unlikely to happen.

Jets RB - Pyro Character

32.     Chris Johnson (vs. Chi - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Ankle) - CJ2K was limited in practice both on Thursday and Friday. However, since they play on Monday night, we won't have his official injury designation until Saturday. Even so, he looks just fine and will play here in Week 3.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #1 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

C.J. has not gotten going in his limited role with the Jets. New York is still running the ball more than anyone in the NFL, but Johnson only had 21 yards on 12 carries against a weak Packers run defense. This week he will face the Bears at home on Monday Night Football, and while the Bears defense did look good against the 49ers, they did allow a big run to Frank Gore that was called back due to a penalty. That run came up the gut, something that Johnson does not do very well. Chris Ivory is once again the better option for the Jets in the running game this week.

Montee Ball - Pyro Character

33.     Montee Ball (at Sea - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #30 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

This is not a good matchup for Ball. The Seahawks are coming off a loss, and heading home where they are nearly unbeatable. This is a rematch of the Super Bowl, and you can bet the Broncos want to establish the run, but Denver has yet to get Ball going in either of their first two games. Montee only has 127 rushing yards, with one touchdown, and an unimpressive 3.6 YPC average. It is not going to get much better this week, and while Ball has five receptions for 45 yards on the season, he is not strong enough in the passing game to make up the points this week.

Minnesota Vikings RB - Pyro Character

34.     Matt Asiata (at NO - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #22 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Frank Gore - Pyro Character

35.     Frank Gore (at Ari - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #32 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Frank Gore had a solid game against the Bears, including a 40+ yard touchdown run that was called back due to a penalty. Frank the Tank looks locked in at about 15-18 touches a game making him a solid RB2 so far this season. Against the Bears Gore had 13 carries for 62 yards and a score and added another 2 catches for 12 yards. Gore has had two soft matchups to start the season but now playing in the division against Arizona, Gore should have a slightly tougher time. Arizona is currently allowing just 11.9 fantasy points a game to opposing running backs, a number good for fourth in the league. If you have better options, this is the week to use them.

Jaguars RB - Pyro Character

36.     Toby Gerhart (vs. Ind - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Foot) - Gerhart graduated from a DNP, to limited, to full participation in practice throughout the week and will start against the Colts on Sunday.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #14 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Jacksonville faces Indy. The good news is, only 3 teams have given up more fantasy points to the running back position. The bad news is, well… you are thinking about starting Gerhart. He is averaging a plodding 2 yards a carry. Jacksonville throws a lot and will definitely need to put up points to keep up with a pissed off Colts team. You could consider peaking at the waiver wire this week. With all of the injuries, you might be surprised to see who is available and where we have them rated.

Darren McFadden - Pyro Character

37.     Darren McFadden (at NE - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #13 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Darren McFadden got the chance to run as the Raiders lead back in week 2 due to MJD’s injury. He was his usual inefficient self, gaining just 37 yards on his 12 carries but did find the endzone and added another 31 receiving yards, so those that had him in the lineup weren’t too disappointed. This week New England hosts the Raiders and with MJD unlikely to suit up again, McFadden should see most of the work. New England has allowed 23.4 fantasy points a game to opposing running backs, but taking on a rookie quarterback at home the will look to stop the run. New England has been burned for two receiving touchdowns from runners out of the backfield though, and DMC’s open space ability still looks to be intact.

Houston Texans Rookie - Pyro Character

38.     Alfred Blue (at NYG - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  ARIAN FOSTER HAS BEEN DECLARED INACTIVE FOR TODAY'S GAME

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #20 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

DeAngelo Williams - Pyro Character

39.     DeAngelo Williams (vs. Pit - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Thigh) - DeAngelo sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he returned to a limited session on Friday and is said to be on track to play this Sunday night against the Steelers.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Trent Richardson - Pyro Character

40.     Trent Richardson (at Jac - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

As I stated last week, do not sell on Richardson just yet. Indy is tied for the 4th-easiest run schedule in week #3 and have the 3rd-easiest in week #4. Week 5 gets a lot tougher. What to do with T-Rich by then will be heavily based on his performance in the next two weeks. Well, that, and his teammate, Ahmad Bradshaw. Lord knows Pep Hamilton wants to run the ball. Richardson had one of his best games week 2 against the Eagles. However, his 3.8 yards per carry paled in comparison to Bradshaw’s 5.4. I am hoping T-Rich makes the most of the coming weeks to create something of a sell high opportunity. In Week 3, he goes to Jacksonville. So far, there is only 1 team that has given up more fantasy points to opposing running backs than the Jags. We could very well see his best game of the season in the next two weeks. After that, I say get what you can for him. You certainly are not in danger of driving his value any lower by hanging on the next two weeks.

Shonn Greene - Pyro Character

41.     Shonn Greene (at Cin - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #29 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Shonn Greene is averaging 10 carries and 55 yards a game so far over the first two games, but has yet to find the endzone or be targeted in the passing game. Greene looks locked in as the teams early down back with Dexter McCluster taking more than his share of early down work and pretty much all the receiving work. Greene will take on the Cincinnati Bengals this week who have been one of the leagues best teams so far this season. Their defense hasn’t missed a beat since last season and is allowing just 12.8 fantasy points a game to opposing running backs. Greene might not be the sexiest name in the Titans backfield but for the moment he looks like he will retain possession of the teams top spot in the backfield.

Jonathan Stewart - Pyro Character

42.     Jonathan Stewart (vs. Pit - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Roy Helu - Pyro Character

44.     Roy Helu (at Phi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Knee) - Helu left the Redskins Week 2 game early with a knee injury, but practiced in full this week and will play this Sunday against the Eagles.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #23 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Tampa Bay RB - Pyro Character

49.     Mike James (at Atl - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #7 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Doug Martin looked awful in Week 1, much like he did early last year before going down with an injury. He missed Week 2 with his knee injury but now looks poised to return in a Thursday night tilt against the Falcons. Unfortunately for Martin and his fantasy owners teammate Bobby Rainey looked like the better running back last week as he rushed 22 times for 144 yards. Martin has faired well in his career against the Falcons averaging 80 yards rushing and a touchdown over his three games. The Falcons are currently giving up the most fantasy points (37.4) to opposing running backs over their first two games, as they have allowed an incredibly high 5 rushing touchdowns against the Saints and Bengals. After Rainey’s performance Doug is likely to cede carries, and not knowing how many, even in the tastiest of matchups limits his upside.

Calvin Johnson - Pyro Character

1.         Calvin Johnson (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #7 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Calvin will be facing the Packers this week and has had good success in his career against them. In 12 career games, Megatron has 12 touchdowns and 1,163 yards on 71 catches. The Packers defense has had major issues stopping the run this season, but Stafford and Calvin should be able to exploit them through the air this week as well. You are going to start Johnson this week, and he should not disappoint.

Brandon Marshall - Pyro Character

2.         Brandon Marshall (at NYJ - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Ankle)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Brandon Marshall is coming off a huge Sunday night game despite saying he was 75% sure he was not going to play. He caught three touchdown passes from Jay Cutler and did so with his superb body control and veteran savvy. He also produced what might be the catch of the week on a fade route in the endzone. The Bears scored three times (Marshall caught 2) in the fourth quarter to secure a victory over the 49ers on the road. While he had just 5 catches for 48 yards total, the touchdowns should come as no surprise as he has been one of the most targeted receivers in the redzone since joining the Bears. Marshall will now get to go up against a Jets defensive backfield that was just torched by Jordy Nelson and the Packers last Sunday. The Jets are currently allowing 34.9 points to opposing wide receivers, and with their ability to stop the run, the ball should be in the air a lot in New Jersey Monday night.

Dez Bryant - Pyro Character

3.         Dez Bryant (at StL - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Shoulder)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #20 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Julio Jones Pyro Character

4.         Julio Jones (vs. TB - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-11 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Julio has had a lot of success against the Buccaneers, and he should be able to do more damage this week. In four career games against Tampa, Jones has 394 yards with three touchdowns on 19 catches and two 100-yard games. Julio has been targeted 22 times through two weeks and should see double-digit targets in this game as well. The Falcons should look to exploit the Tampa Bay defense through the air, and Julio is going to be the major factor this week.

Jordy Nelson - Pyro Character

5.         Jordy Nelson (at Det - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #3 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Jordy has taken his game to the next level after exploding last week for nine catches, 209 yards and a touchdown. Nelson has been targeted an absurd 30 times through two weeks. This week he is facing the Lions in game that could turn into a shootout. Jordy is Aaron Rodgers’ favorite receiver and has become a must-start every week in fantasy.

Demaryius Thomas - Pyro Character

6.         Demaryius Thomas (at Sea - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #32 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Demaryius and the Broncos have their work cut out for them as the head to the great northwest to face the Seahawks. Thomas is still looking for his first big game of the season, and on paper this does not look like the match-up that would bring that game, but you might be surprised. The Seahawks always leave Richard Sherman on one side of the field, so the Broncos can have Demaryius line up on the opposite side the entire game, as the Packers did with Jordy Nelson. Seattle is 18-1 at home over the last three seasons, and there is a good chance that Denver is playing from behind in this one, which means more targets for Thomas.

Randall Cobb pyro character

7.         Randall Cobb (at Det - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #3 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Antonio Brown - Pyro Character

8.         Antonio Brown (at Car - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #30 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The Steelers will be facing one of the toughest defenses in the league this week in the Panthers, as shown by their allowing the second fewest fantasy points through two weeks. Pittsburgh is going to have a hard time establishing the run against this defense, which means Big Ben will be forced to throw the ball and a lot of those balls should be headed Antonio’s way. Last week he was targeted 12 times… and that was with him missing a quarter and a half with an injury. Brown is proving that he is going to score on a weekly basis and should be in your starting lineup again this week.

Keenan Allen - Pyro Character

9.         Keenan Allen (at Buf - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Groin)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-11 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Allen has been held in check so far this season, but that is because he faced Patrick Peterson and Richard Sherman the first two weeks. This week he faces the Bills, and those tough matchups should have him ready to break out against them this week. The Chargers are going to be without Ryan Mathews, and they may be forced to pass the ball more in this contest. Keenan has yet to find the end zone this year, but he should be able to change that this week. With that being said, check in before game-time to make sure he’s playing, as he’s been limited in practice with a groin injury. If he’s good to go, this is the week he produces for your fantasy team.

Alshon Jeffery - Pyro Character

10.       Alshon Jeffery (at NYJ - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Hamstring)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The Bears head to the Jets to play on Monday night. Jeffery, who many thought would not play in Week 2, ended up soldiering through the game. This is not exactly good for owners. Does anyone remember Roddy White last year? Well, he will have an extra day of rest as they play Monday night. However, that could work against you, especially if it is a game time decision. If you intend to start Jeffery, make sure you have another option that plays Monday night, just in case he is a late minute scratch. If healthy, this could be a nice matchup. The Jets have given up 5 TDs to opposing wide receivers in just two games so far. Only one other team has given up more.  As if it couldn’t get better, the Jets have given up the most fantasy points to wide receivers (35.90). Keep your eyes on his status as the week progresses. The matchup is juicy. You could pick up Santonio Holmes as an insurance policy. Or, if Eric Decker is a scratch, which is also a question, Jeremy Kerley could be a Monday night fill-in as well.

Percy Harvin - Pyro Character

11.       Percy Harvin (vs. Den - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

It is clear that Percy Harvin is going to be a big part of the Seattle offensive attack, and last week he scored on a 51-yard touchdown run, even though he did step out of bounds. The biggest surprise was that he was only targeted once in the passing game. Part of the problem was that the Seahawks only had the ball for 17 minutes in the game. This week he will face the Broncos, who he returned a kick for touchdown against to start the second half of the Super Bowl. Seattle will look to get Percy going early in this game, and he will see a lot more targets in this game. Harvin is the Seahawks game breaker, and if Peyton turns this into a track meet then Percy will score big.

Jeremy Maclin Pyro Character

12.       Jeremy Maclin (vs. Was - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #14 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Mike Wallace - Pyro Character

13.       Mike Wallace (vs. KC - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #15 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Mike Wallace has yet to hit on the long pass play this season, but he has been a very efficient fantasy receiver over the first two weeks. Wallace has scored a touchdown in each game this year, and he will be looking for the three-peat against a Chiefs defense that has had issues stopping the pass. Kansas City is allowing 25.6 points per game to receivers, and Wallace should be able to exploit them. The interesting part in Wallace’s game is that he has developed into more than just a deep threat, which is making him into a much better fantasy receiver. The chemistry between him and Ryan Tannehill is getting better all the time, and they have yet to hit their stride, but this week will give them a good opportunity to get on track.

Julian Edelman - Pyro Character

14.       Julian Edelman (vs. Oak - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Back)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Edelman has been the most consistent weapon for Tom Brady through two games, and he hauled in his first touchdown last week. Julian has six catches in each of the first two games, and should be busy again this week versus the Raiders. Oakland does not have a very strong defense, and Edelman should have a lot of success working underneath routes in this game.

Andre Johnson - Pyro Character

15.       Andre Johnson (at NYG - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Ankle)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #27 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Johnson continues to be the only reliable threat in the Texans passing game, collecting six catches in each of the first two games. The issue for Andre is that the Texans have been totally focused on the running game and have not thrown the ball more than 22 times in a game this year. The good news is that he continues to get the majority of those targets, but it also limits his big-game potential. The Giants defense is suspect, so there is a good chance for Johnson to have his first 100-yard game of the season.

Pierre Garcon - Pyro Character

16.       Pierre Garcon (at Phi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #1 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Washington heads to Philly for Week 3. If there is a game for Garcon to get back on track, this is it. The Washington RBs face the 23rd easiest schedule, Cousins is up against the 7th easiest, and low and behold, Garcon and his fellow receivers have the best strength of schedule. The real question is: will Kirk Cousins begin to get a connection going with Garcon? Pierre is something of a road warrior. In only 1 more game on the road than at home, he has 9 more touchdowns. Plus, he averages about 2 more yards per reception.  Cousins showed he has the arm to push the ball down the field. The Eagles have put up the most points thus far in 2 weeks (64). This should be a high scoring affair, and the table is set for this waiter (actually, Garcon means boy) to take advantage. Hopefully, Cousins spreads the ball around a bit more so Pierre can get back to his 2013 form.

A.J. Green - Pyro Character

17.       A.J. Green (vs. Ten - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Toe)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #31 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Green is iffy to play in this game as he is dealing with a ligament injury in his foot. With the Bengals having a bye in Week 4, it would make sense to give him a couple of weeks to rest, so be sure he is 100% healthy and active before putting him in your lineup. If he does play, it’s likely he comes up short of any sort of monster performance, as the Bengals should look to do most of their damage against the Titans in the running game. That being said, this IS one of the premier players in the game, so anything’s possible.

Brandin Cooks Pyro Character

18.       Brandin Cooks (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #2 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Cooks was unable to get going last week, but to be fair it was not a good week for any of the Saints not named Jimmy Graham. This week Brandin will get to play his first home game of his career, and will get the Brees-playing-at-home bounce to his numbers. The Saints offense is much different at home, and Cooks is going to be a featured part of it this week. Brees likes to take the deep shots, and the Vikings defensive backs are going to be tested by the speed of Cooks. Look for Brandin to damage in the running game as well. The rookie is a strong start this week.

T.Y. Hilton - Pyro Character

19.       T.Y. Hilton (at Jac - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Groin)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #10 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Hilton has yet to impress this season with only 106 yards on 11 catches through two games. The good news is that he has been targeted 11 times in each game. This week he faces the Jaguars who he had 15 catches for 200 yards against last season in two games. Jacksonville is giving up 28.2 points to wide receivers this year, and T.Y. should be able to finally break through for your fantasy team. The key to his success is connecting on the long ball, and the Jaguars have been susceptible to the long pass this season.

 Wes Welker - Pyro Character

20.       Wes Welker (at Sea - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #32 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

He’s back…and none too soon as the Broncos travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in a friendly little Super Bowl rematch. Well, probably not so friendly. Whatever the case, Manning is going to need Welker pretty bad in this one, and you can bet it’ll happen. With this being Welker’s first game of the season, I can’t say I expect Welker to see the exact same stat-line as he did in the Super Bowl last February (10 targets, 8 catches, 84 yards), but it wouldn’t shock me either. If you’re going to beat the Seahawks, you’re going to have to use your wide receivers effectively in short, high-percentage routes… which just so happens to be Welker’s specialty.

Cordarrelle Patterson - Pyro Character

21.       Cordarrelle Patterson (at NO - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Chest)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #26 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

With the suspension of Adrian Peterson, Patterson is now the focus of defenses. That focus held him in check last week with only four catches for 56 yards. This week he will face the Saints, whose defense has been downright awful this year. New Orleans is giving up 29.5 fantasy points per game to opposing receivers, which is second-worst in the league. Even though he will see a lot of double-coverage in this game, Patterson is still worth starting due to his big-play ability.

Reggie Wayne Pyro Character

22.       Reggie Wayne (at Jac - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #10 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Well, if Luck welcomed Wayne back in Week 1 by showing him the love, Week 2 was all about loving Hilton. Wayne was only given 7 looks this past Sunday while Hilton was given 11. The Colts head to the Jags for Week 3. Indy is now 0-2. After a tough loss where all the calls went against them in week #2, Luck and his crew will be looking for redemption. Cue the Jaguars defense collectively saying: “oh shit!”. Luck is going to put up big numbers, and Wayne will see a lot of that. Houdini loves Luck this week and rightly so. Luck has the 5th easiest strength of schedule this Sunday. Both Hilton and Wayne should have big games. Generally, Wayne is suited for PPR leagues, but even in standard scoring, old reliable will get him some fantasy goo. The heart of the Jaguars defense, linebacker Paul Posluszny did not practice Wednesday, nor did cornerback Alan Ball. Even if these boys do suit up, the Jags are a sketchy, banged up defense at best and will have their hands full on Sunday.

Marques Colston - Pyro Character

23.       Marques Colston (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #2 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

After a five catch 110-yard performance in the season opener, Colston was held without a catch, and in fact he was not even targeted. That will change this week, as the Saints are at home for the first time this season, and desperate for a win. Drew Brees is a different quarterback at home. Last season he averaged throwing for 354 yards with more than three touchdowns per game at home. Colston is going to see his fair share of targets in this game, as the Saints should be throwing all over the Vikings. The Saints will also be without Mark Ingram, which should have them throwing even more.

Kelvin Benjami

24.       Kelvin Benjamin (vs. Pit - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Knee)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #22 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Vincent Jackson - Pyro Character

25.       Vincent Jackson (at Atl - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #13 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Jackson has not gotten off to a good start this season with only eight catches for 87 yards with no touchdowns through two games. This week he faces the Falcons on Thursday night, and will face a defense that is allowing 24 points per game to opposing receivers. The problem for Jackson is that the Buccaneers are not dynamic enough in the passing game. Josh McCown has thrown for under 200 yards in each of the first two games, so keep that in mind if you decide to start VJax this week.

Michael Floyd - Pyro Character

26.       Michael Floyd (vs. SF - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #23 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Floyd suffered last week without Carson Palmer under center, as the youngster was targeted just six times and came away with only one catch for 19 yards. Larry Fitzgerald saw the majority of targets from Drew Stanton with 10, though Stanton only threw for 167 and no touchdowns. It looks like he might start again this week and if that is the case, Floyd is not going to be able to score like he normally would. He’s still a great talent and could easily get behind a cheating safety for a long one, but if Stanton is at quarterback again, you might be risking your week on it. However, he’s worth it as a WR3/Flex play for sure.

Golden Tate - Pyro Character

27.       Golden Tate (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #7 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Tate has gotten off to a decent start with the Lions, pulling in 11 catches through the first two games. He is benefiting from playing with Megatron, but he has yet to score on the year. This week the Lions will face the Packers, whose defense has been horrible at stopping the run. Detroit is going to try to exploit that run defense, as well as reverse their recent trend against the Packers. Last year Green Bay outscored the Lions 62-19, and the Packers still have the ability to put up a lot of points. While the Lions may focus on the run early, this game could become a track meet, in which case Tate will hold more value.

Harry Douglas - Pyro Character

28.       Harry Douglas (vs. TB - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS/NFL Network)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Foot) - Douglas left the Thursday night game against the Bucs and will be questionable for the Falcons Week 4 tilt against the Vikings.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-11 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Emmanuel Sanders Pyro Character

29.       Emmanuel Sanders (at Sea - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #32 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Victor Cruz - Pyro Character

30.       Victor Cruz (vs. Hou - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #25 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The Texans come to town for Week 3. The Texans have only given up 1 receiving TD so far, and have been taken for 19.1 fantasy points from opposing wide receivers. The big thing is the yardage. Only 6 teams have given up more yards to opposing pass catchers. Fellow wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan is on injured reserve. Hopefully, this means more looks to Cruz. Last week he led the team with 10 targets.  It has not been pretty in the early going. Cruz’s drop rate is almost 19%. He and Eli have struggled to get on the same page so far this year. McAdoo’s offense is not something that Eli appears comfortable with as of yet. Cruz and Eli need to get it together in order to put up some fantasy relevance. Remember folks, it takes two to make a thing go right. It takes two to make it outta sight.

Kendall Wright - Pyro Character

31.       Kendall Wright (at Cin - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #24 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Last week Wright was held under 50 yards for the second week in a row. He has not been able to get on the same page with Jake Locker, and he continues to be a possession receiver, even though he has the talent to be much more. This week he faces the Bengals, who just gave the Falcons passing attack fits. The Titans will be trailing in this game, which means they will be passing, but with the lack of yardage Wright is not as strong a start in this game.

DeSean Jackson Pyro Character

32.       DeSean Jackson (at Phi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Shoulder)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #1 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Jackson injured his shoulder last week, but that is not going to keep him out of this revenge game. DeSean has had this game circled on his calendar ever since the Eagles released him. If he was 100% healthy then his value would be higher, but you can bet that Washington will look to get him the ball early and often as they hope to play on Jackson’s adrenaline. DeSean is a risk/reward start this week, but the potential rewards are worth the risk.

Larry Fitzgerald - Pyro Character

33.       Larry Fitzgerald (vs. SF - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #23 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Michael Crabtree - Pyro Character

34.       Michael Crabtree (at Ari - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #29 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Crabtree was the main focus of Colin Kaepernick last week and finished with seven catches for 82 yards with a touchdown against the Bears. This week he will draw the attention of Patrick Peterson, which will limit his output this week. Kaepernick has not looked very crisp this season, and that combination makes Crabtree a risky start this week. Last season Crabtree only had three catches for 29 yards in his one meeting against Peterson. Use a better option if you have one this week.

Sammy Watkins Pyro Character

35.       Sammy Watkins (vs. SD - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Ribs)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #5 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Play it again Sam! That raw talent was too good to keep down. In Week 2, Watkins had 11 looks and grabbed 8 catches for 117 yards and one score. The dude almost had another long one which would have given him closer to 150 yards. He lived up to the preseason hype. Despite his QB play, Watkins rose to the top. While many bring up the short passes, look at it like this: Buffalo is making a concerted effort to get the guy the ball. That is what you want as a Watkins owner. In Week 3, we have a west coast team flying east. The Chargers come to Buffalo for one of the early games on Sunday. The Chargers have given up 23.6 fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Only 6 teams have allowed more fantasy points to the position so far. The Chargers might be missing some key defensive guys as well. Three of their outside linebackers did not practice on Wednesday, but the big one when it comes to Watkins is CB Brandon Flowers. He missed Wednesday's practice, but was a full participant the rest of the week and is Probable to play. If he suffers a pre-game setback, however, it would put rookie CB Jason Verret on the field to cover Watkins. Although Verret has looked good so far, Buffalo could exploit the mismatch for another big day for Watkins.

Anquan Boldin - Pyro Character

36.       Anquan Boldin (at Ari - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Doug Baldwin - Pyro Character

40.       Doug Baldwin (vs. Den - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-8 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The Broncos head to Seattle for a rematch of the Super Bowl. So far, passing has not been a part of the offense. I thought Baldwin was going to be getting a bigger slice thus far, but when Wilson is 26th in the league for pass attempts, that is not much goo to go around. Wilson has had a top 10 strength of schedule so far and that continues this week. Seattle is tied for 8th easiest at the QB position(same for the WR). Lynch and the RBs have a tougher go as Denver is ranked as the 19th easiest against the rush.  Chances are, they continue with the ground game. As Baldwin owners, your silver lining is this: Baldwin is the only receiver who has been given double digit targets on the team (11 through 2 weeks). In the Super Bowl, Baldwin caught all 5 of his targets for 66 yards and a score. The fact that week #3 is a home game is great, Baldwin scores 3 times as much at home as on the road.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rookie - Pyro Character

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #19 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Torrey has been a fantasy disappointment this season with only four catches for 60 yards on the season. Steve Smith has become the favorite target of Joe Flacco, as Torrey has been relegated to the third and sometimes fourth option in the passing game. With All-World CB Joe Haden likely following him around all weekend, expect another week of the same. Until he proves that he can be more than just a deep threat, he is not worth starting.

Riley Cooper - Pyro Character

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #2 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Stills played in his first game last week, but failed to do much with only three catches for 25 yards. The Saints should be passing the ball a lot in this game, but Stills is the fourth option in the passing game, and that does not include Pierre Thomas. He may have potential to hit on a deep pass play, but it would be like starting Devery Henderson…don’t do it.

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Illness)

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #10 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

He has seen 8 targets through tw0 games and should not really be considered even as a flex. He does have a score, and was targeted in the red zone once last weekend. However, he is the team’s 7th option really. Although Week 3 will be a big game for the Colts, you can’t bet on Nicks. You would be counting on him getting a score, and that is nowhere near a safe bet. Keep him on your bench. Better yet, see if there isn’t a waiver wire guy that suits your fancy.

The rookie has yet to establish himself, with only four targets in each of the first two games, but catching just three passes. Mathews is not a recommended starter, but you should still stash the rookie if you have space on your bench as he could become a big factor in the second half of the season.

Rob Gronkowski - Pyro Character

2.      Rob Gronkowski (vs. Oak - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Knee) - As usual, Gronk will play this Sunday, but will again be on a snap-count as the Patriots look to keep him healthy all season.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #T-19 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Zach Ertz - Pyro Character

3.      Zach Ertz (vs. Was - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  PROBABLE (Knee) - Nothing to see here, as Zach was a full participant in practice all week.

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #9 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

Second-year man, Zach Ertz, is just 4 yards away from leading the Eagles in receiving yards. He has 7 receptions for 163 yards and one TD. In Week 2 he was targeted six times, but with the Eagles at home against Washington in Week 3, that number could go up. Washington has been tough against the tight end position this year, as they have only given up a total of three catches for 77 yards and 1 TD here in 2014. However, last year the 'Skins were one of only four teams to give up double-digit TDs to tight ends, and since we know the Eagles are going to score (lead the league with 64 points), Ertz could be in for a big game. So although Washington has been tough thus far, you don’t bench an Eagle the way they are playing right now.

Jordan Cameron - Pyro Character

11.    Jordan Cameron (vs. Bal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  QUESTIONABLE (Shoulder) - After missing the Browns second game of the season, Cameron came back to limited practices all week and will likely be a game-time decision this Sunday.  PYRO's TAKE: The Browns will need all hands on deck if they want to beat the inter-division rival Baltimore Ravens, so we're guessing he plays. However, even if he does play, don't expect big numbers out of the Browns tight end as the Ravens defense perennially ranks in the Top-10 against the position. Last year they held Jordan to six catches on 12 targets for 99 yards and no TD's. If you have a viable Week 3 backup on your roster, we'd recommend using him.

Week 3 INJURY REPORT:  Healthy

Week 3 Strength of Schedule:  Rank #4 (Rank: 1=Easiest  32=Hardest)

The Rams are home to the Cowboys for Week 3. The Dallas D has been far better than forecasted. So far, only 11 teams have given up fewer yards per game and only 10 teams have given up fewer points per game. That is a far cry from the pundits who believed this was going to be the worst defense in all of football. Now, here is where Pyro has your back. Although they have surprised us on defense, they are most susceptible to the tight end. So far, only 1 other team has allowed more fantasy points to that position. Not only that, there are only 4 teams that have allowed more tight end yards, and they are tied for the league worst in touchdowns allowed to tight ends (3). Jared Cook is 2nd on the team with 12 targets, which could translate into a nice game for the big man.
