Quarterbacks                 (Updated:  Wednesday, Dec. 17 - 5:24PM CT)

Tom Brady - Pyro Character

1.       Tom Brady (at NYJ - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Brady was able to make last weeks game end up on a good note, as he scored more than 24 fantasy points for the second week in a row. Brady threw for 287 yards with two touchdowns and one interception against the Dolphins. This week he will face the Jets, and the last time they faced each other Brady only completed 54% of his passes for 261 yards, but threw three touchdowns with no interceptions. In 25 career games against the Jets, Tom has 35 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions. The Jets have been playing better defense of late, allowing less than 20 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over their last four games while holding two of their last three opponents without a touchdown pass. Brady should be just fine in this matchup and will more-than-likely have a nice fantasy day, while notching win #20 over the Jets.

Aaron Rodgers Pyro Character

2.       Aaron Rodgers (at TB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Aaron Rodgers had a really bad fantasy day, and if not for the historically bad start to the Johnny Football era in Cleveland, you probably would have heard a ton more about it. Rodgers has looked nearly unstoppable against your average NFL defense, but when going up against the elites, more than a chink in his armor has been exposed. Rodgers completed just 17 of 42 attempts for a completion percentage of 40.5 - his lowest since Week 9 of the 2012 season against Arizona. He failed to crack 200 passing yards for the 4th time this season, throwing for a mere 185 yards while putting up his first game of the year with no touchdown passes. Luckily for Rodgers, every QB in the league not named Drew Brees or the one that has Odell Beckham Jr. on his team had a down week, so if you started your fantasy star, you still had a chance to come away with a victory. This weekend, Rodgers has a good matchup to right the ship in Tampa Bay. The Bucs are giving up 17.1 fantasy points a game to quarterbacks this season and over the last three, have given up 17.5. Basically, start Aaron and he shall deliver this week, as the leagues best wide receiver corps in terms of fantasy points faces the sixth worst unit in the league at defending them.

Andrew Luck - Pyro Character

3.       Andrew Luck (at Dal - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Luck has been the best quarterback all season long, but he let some of his fantasy owners down in a critical playoff game last week, throwing for only 187 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Andrew only mustered up 19.2 fantasy points, which was his worst output of the season… and it could not have come at a worse time. This week he faces the Cowboys, who did a great job against Mark Sanchez, picking him off twice while holding him without a touchdown pass. Prior to that game, Dallas had allowed six passing touchdowns in their previous three weeks. Every time Luck has had a subpar performance, he has come back strong the next week. The future league MVP has carried you all season and should get back on track with a good game against Dallas this week.

Matthew Stafford - Pyro Character

4.       Matthew Stafford (at Chi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Detroit visits Chicago for a huge divisional game. Currently, the Lions are tied with Green Bay atop the division as both teams are 10-4. Undoubtedly, they will come correct this weekend. If they win, they are in the playoffs. In fact, if the Eagles lose on Saturday, they are in just like that. They will still be playing for home field, so there is no concern about them resting any starters. In Stafford’s 9 career games against the Bears, he has 14 passing TDs, but also has 9 INTs. He has averaged 257 yards per game. In the last 5 weeks, only 6 teams have given up more fantasy points to opposing QBs. When these teams met in Week 13, the duo of Johnson and Tate tore up the Bears secondary for 235 total receiving yards. Kyle Fuller was primarily on Megatron. In fact, 9 of his 11 catches came against Fuller and 117 of his 146 yards as well. Plus, both his TDs came against Fuller, whom Pro Football Focus ranks as the 106th cornerback out of 110 total. That same week, Stafford enjoyed his best game of the season. He ended the day with 390 yards with both of his 2 TDs going to Calvin. Stafford could be a nice Fan Duel play, as there are 10 QBs that cost more.

Drew Brees - Pyro Character

5.       Drew Brees (vs. Atl - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

After a shaky game versus Carolina last week, Brees got back on track in Chicago in Week 15 throwing for 375 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Drew now has three or more touchdown passes in three of his last four games. This week he faces the Falcons, who allowed Big Ben to throw for 360 yards last week, but did not allow him to throw a touchdown. The last time the Saints and Falcons met was in the season opener when Brees threw for 333 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Aaron Rodgers is the only quarterback to put up a three-touchdown game against Atlanta all season. Brees has won 13 of 18 matchups against the Falcons and has 35 touchdowns with 20 interceptions in those games. This game is for major playoff stakes, so expect Brees to be on his game.

Peyton Manning - Pyro Character

6.       Peyton Manning (at Cin - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Peyton Manning has been in a free-fall the last three weeks, scoring an average of 13.4 fantasy points per game in that span. It has been four weeks since Peyton threw for a 300-yard game, and he only has three touchdowns with two interceptions in his last three games. Manning will be facing the Bengals, who have been great as of late against quarterbacks, holding three of the last four quarterbacks they faced under 10 fantasy points. Over their last six games, the Bengals are allowing a mere 14.3 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, and Ben Roethlisberger is the only one who had success, throwing for three touchdowns in Week 14. They have held four of their last six opponents without a touchdown pass, and only allowed one score in another game. Manning does not have a great matchup here, and the Bengals have been more exposed on the ground, which is where the Broncos firepower has been coming from. It is hard to believe it, but this is not a great week to play Peyton.

Matt Ryan - Pyro Character

7.       Matt Ryan (at NO - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Matt Ryan has elevated his game over the last three weeks, which has really helped his owners making their championship runs. In that span, Matty Ice has thrown for 1,046 yards with over 300 yards in each game, along with eight touchdowns and only three interceptions. Ryan has scored 89.8 fantasy points during this run and will have a great chance to keep it going against the Saints this week. Matt has not seen the Saints since the season opener, but he torched them in that game to the tune of 448 yards and three touchdowns. This game still means something with the entire NFC South sucking eggs, so expect a lot of points to be scored. It’s looking like a good week to keep rolling with Ryan.

Philadelphia Eagles QB - Pyro Character

8.       Mark Sanchez (at Was - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Andy Dalton - Pyro Character

9.       Andy Dalton (vs. Den - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Andy Dalton and Johnny Manziel had a tight race for who was going to have a worse fantasy day, with the veteran narrowly edging out the rookie with three fantasy points to Manziel’s 0.5 points. Dalton and the Bengals passing attack just never got on track for a number of reasons, even in the absence of CBs Joe Haden and rookie Justin Gilbert for a majority of the game. The Bengals were up early and rode their running backs to a victory, as their defense absolutely ruined the debut of Johnny Football. Dalton passed for just 114 yards on the day and didn’t find the endzone to counteract his interception. This week, the Bengals get the Broncos at home in a game in which their defense will be unlikely to dominate, so Dalton and the passing attack will have to go to work. The Broncos are allowing 17.8 fantasy points a game to opposing quarterbacks on the season, so expect Dalton and Green to get back on track this week as they try to keep pace with the Broncos high-powered attack.

Tony Romo - Pyro Character

10.     Tony Romo (vs. Ind - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Tony Romo made up for his Thanksgiving performance against the Eagles last Sunday night… he and Dez Bryant both. Romo completed 22 of his 31 attempts for 265 yards, three touchdowns (all to Dez) and no interceptions after not throwing for a single TD on Thanksgiving. Romo made good decisions all night long, using the running game to set up play-action while playing a pretty flawless football game (outside of his one fumble). This week, Romo and the Cowboys have a big test as they host the Indianapolis Colts and a big question mark hanging over them with the health status of DeMarco Murray. Should Murray play, the Cowboys strength of running the ball matches up very well with the Colts’ weakness against running backs. Romo will still be asked to make plays on play-action and near the endzone, where Dez Bryant absolutely dominated anyone who was asked to cover him last week. With or without Murray, Romo will still have to call his own number to come away with a victory, so if you’ve been playing him this long, its hard to see you looking the other direction this week… even if the Colts have been above average against quarterbacks this season allowing just 15.1 fantasy points a game.

Ben Roethlisberger - Pyro Character

11.     Ben Roethlisberger (vs. KC - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Ben Roethlisberger did not throw a touchdown pass for the second time this season, but his 360 passing yards were enough to propel him to a 12th place finish among QBs in standard scoring last week. Ben has already set his career high in passing yards this season with two games yet to play. He incredibly has EIGHT games this season with over 300 passing yards with his season low being 196 yards. This week Roethlisberger has a tough matchup against a Kansas City Chiefs defense in need of a victory to hopefully get into the playoffs. The Chiefs are allowing just 14.6 fantasy points a game to opposing quarterbacks on the season and over the last three weeks have allowed just 12.9 points a game. Roethlisberger looks like he will be needed to get this victory, so expect the Steelers to lean on their veteran signal caller and star running back (Le’Veon Bell) this week.

Russell Wilson - Pyro Character

12.     Russell Wilson (at Ari - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Russell Wilson was asked to be a game manager yet again against the 49ers, as Marshawn Lynch continued his domination against their division rival. Wilson attempted just 24 passes and completed 12 of them for 168 yards, one touchdown and an interception. He also tacked on 27 yards on five carries, which was a little underwhelming considering how great he has been with his legs this season. The Seahawks have won their last 4 contests and now trail the Cardinals by just a game, and with a new quarterback starting opposite Russell Wilson this week, the Seahawks look to regain the NFC West crown by season’s end. Earlier this year, Wilson had a nice day against this rugged Arizona defense completing 17 of 22 passes for 211 yards and a score. He also added 73 rushing yards on 10 carries for a total of 19.7 fantasy points. The Cardinals have been good overall against the quarterback position on the season allowing just 14.9 fantasy points a game, but against quarterbacks who most would consider to be in the top-half of starters, they have really struggled giving up 19.5 fantasy points a game.

Robert Griffin III - Pyro Character

13.     Robert Griffin III (vs. Phi - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

RGIII was thrust back into the starting lineup last week when Colt McCoy reinjured his neck strain. With the opportunity, Griffin threw for 236 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while adding 46 yards on the ground (he also had an apparent touchdown called back). It looks like he will get the start in Week 16, and he will have a chance to put up some sneaky points against a poor Eagles defense. The Eagles have allowed two or more touchdowns in 12 games this season. Griffin will also have DeSean Jackson, who enjoyed playing his former team earlier this season, and in this game will have a chance to end the playoff hopes of his former team. RGIII is available on a lot of waiver wires right now and has a better matchup than a lot of the top quarterbacks this week, making him a sneaky start.

Ryan Tannehill - Pyro Character

14.     Ryan Tannehill (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Tannehill had his first 300-yard passing game of the season last week, throwing for 346 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions against the Patriots. That being said, Ryan now only has two touchdown passes in his last three games played. This week he will face the Vikings, whose defense has been stepping up their game as of late, holding opposing quarterbacks to one touchdown pass in each of their last three games. In that time, the Vikings have limited quarterbacks to an average of 16.8 fantasy points per game. Tannehill was rushing for a lot of yards earlier in the season, but that aspect of his game has taken a hit with an average of less than 12 yards rushing per game over his last seven. This looked like a good matchup for him about a month ago, but with the way the Vikings have been playing, this is now a much tougher game to throw Tannehill in your lineup for this week.

Alex Smith - Pyro Character

15.     Alex Smith (at Pit - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Alex Smith finished third among quarterbacks for Week 15. Let me say that again, Alex Smith finished THIRD among quarterbacks for Week 15 while scoring just 21.6 fantasy points. Smith completed 18 of his 30 pass attempts for 297 yards, two touchdowns and no picks while adding 17 rushing yards to boot. This week the Chiefs travel to Pittsburgh to take on Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers in a game with big playoff implications for both squads. The Steelers are allowing 18.4 fantasy points a game to opposing quarterbacks. Over the last three games, though, they have allowed 25.6 fantasy points a game to opposing passers. On the season the Steelers defense has given up at least 19 points a game, excluding the Jaguars anemic offense, and have played some of the most shootout-laden games of the season, which only increases Smith’s value. Take a look for him on the waiver wire if you went with an unknown or unpredictable option at quarterback last week as his consistency and upside this weekend might be worth a shot.

Buffalo Bills QB - Pyro Character

16.     Kyle Orton (at Oak - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB - Pyro Character

17.     Josh McCown (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Josh McCown completed just 13 of his 28 pass attempts last week against the Panthers for 154 yards, one touchdown and an interception. He also rushed twice for 21 yards with a surprisingly semi-athletic-looking touchdown run. With McCown at the helm of the Bucs offense, the team has scored 27 points once against the Redskins, but in the eight other games he has played in, the Bucs have scored between 13-17 points on the day. Maybe when Marc Trestman gets fired after this season, he can join Lovie down in Tampa and the Bucs can go on a some sort of a historic run… but for the rest of this season, expect more of the same. The Packers are allowing 16.3 fantasy points a game to opposing passers, just a hair over the 16.1 league average. The Packers made Kyle Orton look awful last week and they could very well do the same to McCown. The Bucs will most likely put up another 13-17 points with McCown putting up a mediocre 13-17 fantasy points of his own.

Cam Newton - Pyro Character

18.     Cam Newton (vs. Cle - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Colin Kaepernick - Pyro Character

19.     Colin Kaepernick (vs. SD - Saturday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

On the season, Colin Kaepernick is currently the 17th best fantasy QB. Oh will dRx ever live this one down. His last 3 games are a microcosm of his year. In that span, he has only totaled 1 TD, 4 INTS, and has not thrown for 175 yards in any one outing. Many folks drafted him as a “running” QB, but the guy has not scored a rushing TD on the season. Harbaugh is just not using him like he used to. I saw an interesting article this week that pointed out that Kaepy should no longer play under Harbaugh’s script. Kaepy needs to audition for his future NFL job. Chances are the coach will be gone next year, so the question will be, will the new guy keep him as the #1? If indeed Kaepy decides to go off the res, change it up at the line and call his own number a bit more, it could be interesting and might even produce some fantasy goo. After all, San Diego is giving up the 10th most rushing yards to opposing QBs. Plus, one of their cornerbacks, Shareece Wright, is ranked by Pro Football Focus as their #104th CB out of 110 total. Kendall Reyes, their 3-4 defensive end, is ranked dead last in coverage situations and dead last when they are in pass rush. Still, by no means am I suggesting playing him in your playoffs. It is just something to watch in Week 16. It could reveal a glimmer of something worth salvaging, or perhaps just provide a resounding thud, culminating in his perpetual plummet back to earth this season. Now, for weekly leagues, he is one hell of a bargain. In Fan Duel, he only costs $6,700. He is the 27th rated QB. The guy is behind Nick Foles for God’s sake. It is a gamble, but San Diego can be had defensively. Plus, if he wises up, Kaepy needs to start impressing some folks around the league otherwise he might be on the outside looking in come next season.

Joe Flacco - Pyro Character

20.     Joe Flacco (at Hou - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Joe Flacco was very efficient against the Jaguars on Sunday. Normally that wouldn’t be a compliment, but completing two thirds of your passes for 221 yards and a touchdown pass with no interceptions was good enough to finish as the 13th scorer among quarterbacks. This week Flacco takes on the Texans, who on the season are allowing 15.5 fantasy points a game to opposing quarterbacks. However, over the last five weeks, they have allowed just 13 fantasy points a game and just held fantasy’s top scorer, Andrew Luck, to his second-lowest point total of the season with 15.3 standard points. Flacco and the Ravens will probably go in with a balanced attack, but if their run game gets going, they can choose to pound it in there and let their defense do the rest with a quarterback who will most likely be making his first start of the season under center. The Texans have also given up just one 20-point game to an opposing quarterback all season long, so Flacco’s ceiling is very much on the low end this week.

Houston Texans QB - Pyro Character

21.     Case Keenum (vs. Bal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Chicago Bears QB - Pyro Character

22.     Jimmy Clausen (vs. Det - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Eli Manning - Pyro Character

23.     Eli Manning (at StL - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Amazingly, Eli was the 5th best QB in Week 15. Primarily this has more to do with the lack of QB performances last week than anything ole Eli did. He finished with 24.5 fantasy points, 350 yards and 3 TDs. When you get right down to it, it was Odell Beckham Jr. that really saved his skin. However, that does not mean it won’t happen again, but it might be a tough hill to climb this coming week. The Giants visit the Rams for one of the late Sunday afternoon games. The Rams have not given up a TD to a wide receiver since Week 12. The top opposing WR in each of the last 3 weeks has failed to score a double-digit day against St. Louis. According to Pro Football Focus, they have 3 cornerbacks rated 40 or better out of 110 CBs. They struggle a bit against elite QBs, but lord knows we have put that debate to bed regarding Eli. Versus QBs, they are even tougher. In the last 5 weeks, only 1 team has been stingier against opposing fantasy QBs. Don’t let the ODB mania carry you away. He may get his TD, but it will be a rough day for Eli.

Johnny Manziel - Pyro Character

24.     Johnny Manziel (at Car - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Johnny and crew head to Carolina for Week 16. He was a major gamble last week and to be honest, I thought his legs would be a big plus, a la Tim Tebow. Well, that was not the case. In retrospect, it was a sign that head coach Mike Pettine did not go to him in Week 14. The guy was, and still is, coaching for his job. Many people asked, why not go to the kid? After all, defenses have not really seen what he can do, it should be a huge plus right? Well, the fact that Pettine did not go there suggests he was witnessing what we all saw Sunday, day in and day out in practice. Johnny seemed confused out there, as he turned 3 step drops into one-hoppers, throwing off the wrong foot; you name it, he did it. Now, they face Carolina, who although not as tough a matchup as the Bengals, is still a formidable foe. In the last 5 weeks, only 11 teams are allowing fewer fantasy points to the position. You cannot think of going back to the Manziel well until next season. He is certainly still worth a stash in dynasty leagues, but for re-drafts and weekly leagues, there is no way. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice…. Won’t get fooled again.

Blake Bortles - Pyro Character

25.     Blake Bortles (vs. Ten - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Philip Rivers - Pyro Character

26.     Philip Rivers (at SF - Saturday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Rivers had his second bad playoff performance in a row last week, throwing for 232 yards with one touchdown, two interceptions, and scoring only 15.9 fantasy points. Over the last two weeks, Rivers has only scored 30.2 fantasy points. Philip has thrown one touchdown or less in five of his last six games, and it is not going to get any better this week as he travels to San Francisco to face the 49ers. The 49ers are playing well against quarterbacks, and if you take out the Oakland game two weeks ago, they have only allowed three passing touchdowns in their last four games. They did a good job against Russell Wilson in Seattle last week, limiting him to 168 passing yards and 15.1 fantasy points. This is not the matchup you want for your championship game.

St. Louis Rams QB - Pyro Character

27.     Shaun Hill (vs. NYG - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Geno Smith - Pyro Character

28.     Geno Smith (vs. NE - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Teddy Bridgewater - Pyro Character

29.     Teddy Bridgewater (at Mia - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Minnesota heads south to face a tough Miami defense. Although they are rated as the 26th toughest for opposing fantasy QBs on the season, in the last 5 weeks, they are rated 10 spots up, meaning an easier matchup for QBs. However, don’t get sucked in. The difference is primarily due to the competition. Recently, Miami has faced the likes of Brady, Peyton, and even Joe Flacco who managed to put up 24.4 fantasy points against them. Against low-end QBs such as Bridgewater, they are fierce. Carr, Cutler, Orton, Geno Smith, and even Philip Rivers all failed to amass 9 fantasy points against them. I am staying away from Bridgewater in all formats.

Tennessee Titans QB - Pyro Character

30.     Charlie Whitehurst (at Jac - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Derek Carr Pyro Character

31.     Derek Carr (vs. Buf - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Arizona Cardinals QB - Pyro Character

Running Backs                 (Updated:  Wednesday, Dec. 17 - 5:54PM CT)

Le'Veon Bell - Pyro Character

1.       Le’Veon Bell (vs. KC - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Denver Broncos RB - Pyro Character

2.       C.J. Anderson (at Cin - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

After his three-touchdown performance in Week 14, Anderson was slowed last week, with only 85 yards on 29 carries. That makes two weeks in a row that C.J. has had less than a 3.0 YPC average. The Broncos have leaned on Anderson a lot over the last four weeks giving him 109 carries during the stretch, but the excessive usage seems to be taking it’s toll on him over the last two weeks. This week he faces a Bengals squad that did a great job against the Browns running backs last weekend, but allowed Le’Veon Bell to crush them two weeks ago. Cincinnati has allowed 14 rushing touchdowns on the season, and it seems their weakness is in defending the run. Denver has become a running team over the last month, so with this being a potential playoff matchup and a road game, look for them to lean on the run here a bit as well.

DeMarco Murray - Pyro Character

3.       DeMarco Murray (vs. Ind - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Jamaal Charles - Pyro Character

4.       Jamaal Charles (at Pit - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Joique Bell - Pyro Character

5.       Joique Bell (at Chi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Eddie Lacy - Pyro Character

6.       Eddie Lacy (at TB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Chris Ivory - Pyro Character

7.       Chris Ivory (vs. NE - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Marshawn Lynch - Pyro Character

8.       Marshawn Lynch (at Ari - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Lynch found the endzone for the second week in a row, but was held under 100 yards for the second week in a row as well. Marshawn now only has one 100-yard game in his last four. This week he faces a Cardinals stout run defense which held him to 39 yards on 15 carries in Week 12. Jamaal Charles is the only running back with a rushing touchdown against the Cardinals in the last five weeks. The Cardinals did not allow Lynch to run for 100 yards in either of their games last season. This is not a good matchup for Lynch in your fantasy Championship game.

Lamar Miller - Pyro Character

9.       Lamar Miller (vs. Min - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Fred Jackson - Pyro Character

10.     Fred Jackson (at Oak - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

St. Louis Rams Rookie - Pyro Character

11.     Tre Mason (vs. NYG - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

New Orleans Saints RB - Pyro Character

12.     Mark Ingram (vs. Atl - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Baltimore Ravens RB - Pyro Character

13.     Justin Forsett (at Hou - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Steven Jackson - Pyro Character

14.     Steven Jackson (at NO - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Arian Foster - Pyro Character

15.     Arian Foster (vs. Bal - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Arian Foster had a tough time getting going last week after the injury to Ryan Fitzpatrick, finishing with 99 yards on 26 carries and three receptions for 18 yards without a touchdown. Case Keenum (or Thad Lewis) will be under center for the Texans this weekend, which means the Ravens are going to stack the box to stop Foster. Baltimore is great at stopping the run and has yet to allow a 100-yard rusher on the season. The Ravens have only allowed an average of 57 rushing yards over their last four games and a total of four rushing touchdowns on the season. This is not an ideal matchup for Foster.

Matt Forte - Pyro Character

16.     Matt Forte (vs. Det - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Latavius Murray - Pyro Character

17.     Latavius Murray (vs. Buf - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Jonathan Stewart - Pyro Character

18.     Jonathan Stewart (vs. Cle - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

LeSean McCoy - Pyro Character

19.     LeSean McCoy (at Was - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

McCoy was looking to have another big game against the Cowboys after taking it to them on Thanksgiving, but after being held to 64 yards without a score, it turned out he was the turkey. LeSean now has just 114 rushing yards with no scores in the last two weeks after rushing for 289 yards and two touchdowns in the previous two games. This week he faces the Redskins, who held him to 22 yards on 20 carries back in Week 3. Washington has not allowed a rushing touchdown in their last two games and have only surrendered six scores on the ground all season, so the disappointing McCoy could be in for another long game this week.

Giovani Bernard - Pyro Character

20.     Giovani Bernard (vs. Den - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Giovani has had a horrible sophomore season and has now given way to rookie Jeremy Hill, who has taken over as the lead back in the offense. Gio is now just a change of pace back, and is no longer being used in the redzone. Last week he had a nice effort with 79 yards on 15 carries along with three receptions for 24 yards, but he was held out of the endzone for his fourth straight game. This week he will face the Broncos, who have allowed running backs just 149 rushing yards and 162 receiving yards with one touchdown over the last three weeks. That is an average of 12.4 fantasy points per week. This is a potential playoff matchup, and with Hill once again being the focal point of the running game, Bernard will need to do more damage as a receiver here. Whichever way you cut it, this is not a great matchup for the sophomore RB.

Cleveland Browns Rookie - Pyro Character

21.     Isaiah Crowell (at Car - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

New York Giants Rookie - Pyro Character

22.     Andre Williams (at StL - Sunday, 4:05pm ET - TV: FOX)

Rashad Jennings just can’t seem to stay healthy, and with that, Williams was once again thrust into a much larger role last week. He had 18 carries in the game, but was largely ineffective rushing for only 44 yards, which was the ninth time this season Andre finished a game with a 3.0 YPC or less average. This week he will face a Rams defense that has not allowed a rushing touchdown in their last three games and only two over their seven. Williams is going to have a hard time finding open running lanes this week and is not a strong start.

Cincinnati Bengals Rookie - Pyro Character

23.     Jeremy Hill (vs. Den - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Doug Martin - Pyro Character

24.     Doug Martin (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Indianapolis Colts RB - Pyro Character

25.     Dan Herron (at Dal - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Alfred Morris - Pyro Character

26.     Alfred Morris (vs. Phi - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Reggie Bush - Pyro Character

27.     Reggie Bush (at Chi - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

New York Jets RB - Pyro Character

28.     Chris Johnson (vs. NE - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Johnson had his best opportunity against his former team and horrible run defense of the Tennessee Titans, but he only had 55 yards on 10 carries. From that great matchup, Johnson now will face a much stiffer challenge in the New England Patriots. New England has not allowed a rushing touchdown in their last five games and has only given up 9.4 fantasy points per game to running backs in that span. There is no way that CJ is a good play this week.

Cleveland Browns Rookie - Pyro Character

29.     Terrance West (at Car - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

West and the rest of the Browns offense was shut down by the Bengals last week, but West has now been held under 62 rushing yards in each of his last five games and has been held out of the endzone in that span as well. Terrance only has double-digit carries in two of his last five games and if Johnny Manziel is under center again this week; it could be another long day for him. West will face the Panthers, who are playing better as of late and have not allowed a rushing touchdown in their last four games. In that span, they are only allowing running backs 12.2 fantasy points per game. Look for a better option this week.

New England Patriots RB - Pyro Character

30.     LeGarrette Blount (at NYJ - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Minnesota Vikings RB - Pyro Character

31.     Matt Asiata (at Mia - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Asiata found the endzone last week, but he was held under 40 rushing yards for the ninth time this season. The touchdown last week was his first score since having three against Washington in Week 9. He will face the Dolphins this week, who seem to be in a free fall, and have allowed three rushing touchdowns in their last two games. Asiata is not going to breakout for a ton of yards, but he will have a good chance to score again this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB - Pyro Character

32.     Toby Gerhart (vs. Ten - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Trent Richardson - Pyro Character

33.     Trent Richardson (at Dal - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

San Francisco 49ers RB - Pyro Character

34.     Alfonso Smith (vs. SD - Saturday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Ronnie Hillman - Pyro Character

35.     Ronnie Hillman (at Cin - Monday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: ESPN)

Bishop Sankey Pyro Character

36.     Bishop Sankey (at Jac - Thursday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Sankey has become less and less a part of the Titans offense over the last two weeks, with nine carries two weeks ago and only three carries last week. Sankey has been held to under 3.0 YPC over his last two games and has not scored a touchdown since Week 11. He is not to be trusted this week, even though he is facing a Jaguars defense that has allowed six touchdowns in their last five games.

DeAngelo Williams - Pyro Character

37.     DeAngelo Williams (vs. Cle - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Pierre Thomas - Pyro Character

38.     Pierre Thomas (vs. Atl - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rookie - Pyro Character

39.     Charles Sims (vs. GB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

San Diego Chargers Rookie - Pyro Character

40.     Branden Oliver (at SF - Saturday Night, 8:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Dallas Cowboys RB - Pyro Character

41.     Lance Dunbar (vs. Ind - Sunday, 4:25pm ET - TV: CBS)

Shane Vereen - Pyro Character

42.     Shane Vereen (at NYJ - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Arizona Cardinals RB - Pyro Character

43.     Kerwynn Williams (vs. Sea - Sunday Night, 8:30pm ET - TV: NBC)

Williams had 15 carries for 75 yards last week, making it his second week in a row with at least a 5.0 YPC average. He has not scored a touchdown in that time, and this week doesn’t look like it will provide a lot of opportunities for his first, as the Seahawks have allowed just one rushing touchdown in their last four games. The Cardinals are down to their third-string quarterback now, so expect the Seahawks to stack the box and force the Ryan Lindley to beat them. Basically, this is not a good week to roll with Williams.

James Starks - Pyro Character

44.     James Starks (at TB - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: FOX)

Knile Davis - Pyro Character

45.     Knile Davis (at Pit - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Washington Redskins RB - Pyro Character

46.     Chris Thompson (vs. Phi - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Chris Polk - Pyro Character

47.     Chris Polk (at Was - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Bernard Pierce - Pyro Character

48.     Bernard Pierce (at Hou - Sunday, 1:00pm ET - TV: CBS)

Philadelphia Eagles RB - Pyro Character

49.     Darren Sproles (at Was - Saturday Afternoon, 4:30pm ET - TV: NFL Network)

Sproles continues to be under-utilized in the offense, and even though he scored a touchdown against Dallas last week, he only touched the ball five times in the game. The most touches Darren has in a game this season is 15, which came in the season opener, and he has not had more than 11 touches in a game since Week 6. This week he will face a Redskins D that has only allowed just one rushing touchdown in their last three weeks. When they last faced each other back in Week 3, Sproles had 50 total yards with no touchdowns. He simply does not touch the ball enough to know when the touchdowns are going to come, but it definitely doesn’t look like one will come this week in Washington.
